A scientist from Phoenix - Arizona - wanted to test a theory. He needed a volunteer to reach the ultimate consequences. He got it in a penitentiary. He was a condemned man who would be executed in the St. Louis penitentiary, in the state of Missouri, where there is the death penalty executed in the electric chair. He proposed the following: He would participate in a scientific experiment, in which a small cut would be made in the pulse, just enough to drip his blood. He had a chance of survival, otherwise he would die a death without suffering or pain. The condemned man accepted, because that was preferable to dying in the electric chair, he also had a chance to survive. The condemned man was placed in a high hospital bed, and his body was tied up so that he could not move. They made a small cut on his pulse. Below his pulse, a small aluminum pot was placed. He was told that he would hear his blood drip into the pot. The cut was shallow and did not reach any arteries or veins, but it was enough for him to feel his pulse being cut. Unbeknownst to him, under the bed was a vial of serum with a small valve. When the pulse was cut, the valve of the flask was opened so that he believed that it was his blood that fell into the vessel. Every 10 minutes the Scientist, without the condemned person seeing him, closed the valve a little and the dripping decreased. Meanwhile, the condemned man believed that it was his blood that was diminishing. As time went by, it lost color, becoming more and more pale. When the scientist completely closed the valve, the condemned man went into cardiac arrest and died, without even having lost a drop of blood. The scientist was able to prove that the human mind fulfills, to the letter, everything that is sent to it, and accepted by the individual, be it positive or negative, and that such action involves the entire organism, whether in the organic or psychic part . This story is an alert for us to filter what our mind sends us, since it does not distinguish the real from the fantastic, the true from the wrong, it simply records and fulfills what is sent to it.
