The mobile you are using to know your location acts as a receiver. In order to know your location, first connect your mobile i.e. at least 4 satellites above the receiver and exchange the microwave signal. Then the distance of those specific satellites with your mobile is found out through the traveling time of that signal. The location of your mobile is then determined by the location of the satellite. In this case, the more your mobile can connect to the satellite, the more accurate your location will be.
