This is a true story that happened in our town. A boy got lost in the mountain. The father said he got out of the car, took off and didn't return. The whole town searched, and lots of volunteers helped to look for Alexander. He's 12. It was in the news every day. Alexander is a special child, with special needs. Was he kidnapped? or just lost? And yesterday, the boy was found alive after nine days of wandering in the mountain. He's in good health, though tired and hungry. Truly a miracle how he survived in the wilderness.. alone. The father left the boy in the car (not for so long ) then when he came back the child was gone.

It is scary nowadays. We got to be careful. Even if they lock the car doors, anything can happen. How old are your kids?
He's almost 9 but I always have an eye on the car in that situations. Not more than 20m away. Apart from that, 9 days... he sems to be a very tough boy.
I'm sure your son is clever but like you've said to always keep an eye on them. The whole town was shaken by this news, we wanted to volunteer but we are not train and familiar in the mountainous area. Our son is 14 years old. This is every parent's nightmare. Alexander is tough indeed.

Mysteries, some people are just mysteries. Can't believe he survived for 9 days but exceptional cases like this happens but how that's a big question to solve!
