Let's eat! This morning, Mamo and I baked bread, no leeks, just plain bread for lunch. She always makes it perfect :) I sauteed mixed veggies, some salad and that was our lunch today. This is also good with pesto yummy! Late in the afternoon we headed to the market to buy more persimmon fruit. They call it "raiska yabulka" or paradise apple. I like them when they are not so ripe ( a bit crunchy ) They are also selling lots of fruit trees. This time of the year is the best to plant them because of the cool temperatures. Mamo's garden is like a jungle already lols so we don't need more trees :) There is beauty in old houses. It's very fascinating, plenty of old, empty and abandoned houses in our neighbourhood. Ang kapal ng bread na yan ha at naiimagine ko na madaming babagay na palaman dyan. Hehe mukang need na ata ng trimming kung muka na gubat yung garden. Yung persimmon ano lasa?

That bread looks so perfectly cooked, sis! It must be a nice experience to cook with your Mamo. There’s so much to learn from her. I also like persimmons when they’re still a bit crunchy! I get what you mean about the beauty of old houses. But for me, there’s a fine line between timeless-looking “old” and haunted-looking “old”. Your photo looks like the timeless kind, of course!
