Ho! Ho! ho! Who's playing Christmas songs this morning? Yup, in the Philippines we start celebrating Christmas as early as September and it lasts up to January. Nakakamiss ng Pasko sa Pinas! 🎅 🎄 It was 4 C this morning. I wish I could stay all day long under the blanket 😭but gotta get up & do lots of work at home. How's your day, lovely people? Yes, I've read about the September-January thing several times over the last several years from other Filipinos and even though I am quite known to complain if I hear Christmas music before December 1st or see Christmas lights after December 31st I try to simply move on down the line without saying anything negative. I've learned every country has traditions that seem foreign to me because they ARE foreign - and that is my fault for not studying other countries and therefore not knowing much about them. BUT thanks to different 'social sites' that I've hung around the past 16 years I've gotten to not be quite so narrow in my thoughts because I run into (and form quasi-friendships with) people from all over the world. Yay Internet! (This didn't start out to be this long)
