Palm sunday

Happy Sunday to us all!!!

I know quite a great number of us would have heard about what a palm sunday is or probably you've heard it before but don't know the story behind it.

Palm Sundays are sabbath days that falls the second week of the month (i.e the second Sunday of every month). It's often seen as being unique of all other sabbath days.

What do people do on this special day?

Most people do put on white attires,get palm fronds signifying it's a sabbath day, some also do put it in front of their church as well.

What brought about this?

Scripturally,it all started during the lord Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into jerusalem. How that he rode on a little colt,how people were jubilating and how they expressed their joy in them being privileged to have seen and commune with the messiah by cutting down palm fronds thus bringing into fulfilment all that as being said beforehand about the Messiah.

Palm Sundays are meant to be glorious,fun filled, edifying and great.

It's part of what brings us closer to God and that we appreciate His coming to dine with us and give us the privilege to know the father.
