assalamualikum everyone

How are you all?

I hope everyone well by the grace of Almighty. I am also very good.

It's me @Sumi_kaisar once again come with some interesting artical.

We are all fighting an epidemic called Corona. We all know how terrible this corona is. Just like that, I have come to you today with another famine.

So let's get started,

The incident is the result of a severe famine in Somalia. There was once a food crisis in Somalia. This is the third time in 25 years that Somalia has been hit by famine. The state of Somalia or the country's economic situation was completely shattered. Due to which it is accompanied by a crisis of severe drought. Due to this crisis, even the farmers have not been able to produce any crop for which this country is facing food famine.

Then, when the United Nations came to know about it, the UN World Food Program estimates that at least 260,000 people died in the 2011 famine in Somalia six years ago. Which is a really bad thing. People die for food. Killing feels bad just thinking about how much food we waste. More than half of the dead were children under the age of five. Even according to the UN Food Program, the famine is still a food and water crisis for about 7.2 million people in Somalia. Severe drought in southern Somalia, meanwhile, has caused food shortages and forced one-third of the country's students to drop out of school.

This food and water crisis makes it difficult for children to go to school for which they drop out. Then the United Nations said that when the numbers were calculated, about 3 million students stopped going to school. They did it as a musical instrument. Then when it was seen that the situation was not improving, they were not getting any food, they did not get adequate food assistance and again one lakh more students went to school.

Abdihakim Ahmed, the headmaster of a school in Dhuma Dhuma, said: .This is because of their reluctance to learn, which is a really bad thing.

Tashra Al-Jazeera's Fahmida Miller reports from the Dolo area of southern Somalia. The people there are infected with various types of germs due to Khuda and various germs, and even this severe drought spreads germs like diarrhea, cholera and measles which makes the situation more complicated. This summons puts these 5.5 million people at risk of waterborne diseases who no longer have any taxes on their hands. Then, in the last three months, children in the area have dropped out of school in droves. And the World Health Organization estimates that more than 300,000 children in Somalia are malnourished. But again, there are 63,000 children and 60,000 severely malnourished children, so if we want to save these children, they need immediate relief.

Did you know that on February 20, Secretary General Antonio Guterres announced that about 20 million people in South Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia and Yemen were starving? The famine in northern Sudan has already been announced, but many people in Nigeria, Somalia and Yemen have been starving for a long time, even if it had not been announced.

According to the United Nations, there are some remote areas of Nigeria where people have been suffering from famine since last year and what has been going on in Somalia since the beginning of 2000. He is feared to die of starvation.
