*ENJOINING Great AND Precluding EVIL*

*EPISODE 1️⃣: INTRODUCTION*

Charging right lead implies encouraging others to do great, denying foulness and halting the execution of fiendishness.

Charging great and restricting evil is a type of consolation for the individuals who do great and makes the individuals who are uninformed mindful of the avoidance of offenses and the development of a type of cultural control.

Urging what is acceptable (al-ma'roof) and restricting what is malicious (al-munkar) is one of the main Islamic obligations, for sure it is the noblest and generally brilliant.

Allaah (ﷻ) depicts Muslims in the Qur'aan as a people who urge great and restrict evil.

*وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ*

*"The devotees, people, are allies of each other; they urge great, and deny evil"*

(At-Tawbah 9:71)

Allaah has made the Muslim ummah the best country ever raised up for humanity, to do this significant undertaking:

*كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ ۗ ...*

*You are the best country created [as an example] for humankind. You urge what is correct and restrict what's up and trust in Allah...*

(Al-'Imran 3:110)

As a prize for their activities, they will be fruitful and exemplary.

*وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ*

*And let there be [arising] from you a country welcoming to [all that is] great, urging what is correct and prohibiting what's going on, and those will be the successful.*

(Al-'Imran 3:104)

*يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ*

*They trust in Allah and the Most recent Day, and they urge what is correct and disallow what's going on and hurry to great deeds. Also, those are among the righteous.*

(Al-'Imran 3:114)

The Muslim ummah is one country, and on the off chance that debasement gets broad in it and its conditions turn terrible, at that point all the Muslims are obliged to change it, freed it of malicious things, charge what is acceptable and deny what is awful, and offer earnest exhortation to all.

The Prophet (ﷺ) stated: _*"Whoever among you sees an abhorrent activity, let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; and on the off chance that he can't, at that point with his tongue [by talking out]; and on the off chance that he can't, at that point with his heart [by feeling that it is wrong] – and that is the most fragile of faith."*_

(Described by Muslim, 49)

Therefore, the researchers—at various times—have consistently concurred that ordering the great and disallowing the evil is required upon whoever can do as such.

*Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said:* _"The researchers of the religion have concurred that ordering the great and prohibiting the evil is obligatory upon the people"_

(Jāmi' al-Masāil, vol 3, pg. 381)

Additionally, *al-Nawawī (رحمه الله) stated* while remarking on his proclamation (ﷺ): _"Let him change it with his hand" the accompanying: "Hence, it is a compulsory undertaking, as concurred by the Imams"_

(Sharh Saheeh Muslim, vol.2, pg. 22).

_To be proceeded... إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللّٰهُ‎_

May Allaah make us among the equitable.

آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ

*ENJOINING Great AND Disallowing EVIL*

*EPISODE 2️⃣: THE GRAVITY OF THE ISSUE*

On the off chance that the ummah neglects to perform its responsibility of ordering what is acceptable and disallowing what is malicious, bad behavior and defilement will spread all through the ummah, and it will draw in the revile and discipline of Allaah.

Allaah cautions His accepting workers of a fitnah that won't be limited to the delinquents and wrongdoers. Or maybe, it will arrive at the others if sins are not halted and forestalled.

*وَٱتَّقُوا۟ فِتْنَةً لَّا تُصِيبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنكُمْ خَآصَّةً ۖ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ*

*And dread a preliminary which won't strike the individuals who have violated among you only, and realize that Allah is extreme in penalty.*

(Al-Anfal 8:25)

Allaah directed the adherents to prevent evil from thriving among them, with the goal that He doesn't incorporate them all in the torture.

The admonition in this Ayah tends to the Colleagues of the Prophet and all others, despite the fact that the discourse in the Ayah was aimed at the Buddies.

The Courier of Allaah (ﷺ) talked on the significance of urging great and the ramifications of not doing as such in various Prophetic conventions:

_*By He in Whose Hand is my spirit! You will charge honesty and restrict malevolence, or Allaah will send a discipline upon you from Him; you will ask then to Him, yet He won't answer your supplication.*_

(Ahmad - Tafseer Ibn Katheer, Al-Anfal 8:26)

_*If sins become clear in my Ummah, Allaah will encompass them with discipline from Him.*_ He was asked, _*O Allaah's Courier! Will they have honest individuals among them then?"*_ He answered, _*Yes.*_ He was asked, _*"What will happen to them?"*_ He stated, _*"They will be blasted as the individuals, yet they will wind up with Allaah's absolution and pleasure.''*_

(Ahmad - Tafseer Ibn Katheer, Al-Anfal 8:26)

_*"Every individuals among whom sins are being dedicated, while they are mightier and more various than the individuals who foul up, yet they don't did anything to stop them, at that point Allah will encompass them all with punishment."*_

(Ahmad - Tafseer Ibn Katheer, Al-Anfal 8:26)

The Courier of Allaah ﷺ stated: _*"The first deformity (in religion) which influenced the Offspring of Israel is the way that man would meet another and state to him: dread Allaah and avoid what you are doing, for this isn't legitimate for you.' At that point he would meet him the following day and discover no adjustment in him, yet this would not keep him from eating with him, drinking with him and sitting in his gatherings. At the point when it resulted in these present circumstances, Allaah drove their hearts into abhorrent ways by virtue of their relationship with others.''*_

At that point He (ﷺ) proceeded: *_"Nay, by Allah, you either urge great and preclude insidiousness and grasp the hand of the oppressor and convince him to act legitimately and adhere to reality, or, Allah will include the hearts of some of you with the hearts of others and will revile you as he had reviled them._*

(Sunan Abu Dawud, Section 17, Hadith No. 4338)

Charging what is acceptable and disallowing what is detestable is a mission which will never end until the Hour starts. It is mandatory upon the whole ummah, rulers and subjects, people, each as indicated by their conditions.

May Allaah award us the capacity to make the right decision.

آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
