Cold air with light fog in the morning, feeling of winter when the night is deep ই this is the weather of the country for two days. In some parts of the country, the bone-chilling winter has come down. It is not uncommon to experience such severe winters before December. This time it appeared at the beginning of November. From the north to the capital — everywhere the temperature has started to drop rapidly.

According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures in most parts of the country have dropped from 5 to a maximum of 10 degrees Celsius in a week. In some areas of the north, people have to wear winter clothes to survive the cold in the evening. Roads and waterways have also started blocking the flow of fog in December-January. The city is blurred by the addition of dust with fog.

As the seasons come, winter is still more than a month away. But in the middle of autumn, nature is like winter. Meteorologists say that the reason for the rains in Bangladesh is the monsoon winds coming from the Bay of Bengal, as well as the northern Himalayan winds coming from the source of winter. Like all other winters, this winter's winds have also entered Bangladesh through the northern part of the Himalayas. It usually takes a week to reach the central capital of the country after the onset of winter in the north. This time, the people of the capital have started feeling the winter wind from the north.

Temperatures in Tentulia in the northernmost district of the country, Panchagarh, have been close to freezing since early November. If the minimum temperature is 10 to 12 degrees Celsius somewhere, there is a cold wave. The minimum temperature in Tentulia on Saturday was 13.9 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in most parts of Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions has dropped by 6 to 10 degrees Celsius in four days. The minimum temperature stood at 14 to 18 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, winter in the country from December to February. Temperatures have been dropping since mid-November. At the end of the month, the temperature in the north falls below 20 degrees Celsius. But this time the winter has fallen a little earlier. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature in the capital, the hottest part of the country, has dropped below 19 degrees Celsius.

Even a few days ago, the sky of the capital, including the coastal areas of the country, was covered with black clouds. Rain has also fallen in many places due to light pressure in the Bay of Bengal. The winter went down as the wind and rain did not take leave. Many did not even get a chance to take out mattresses, kantha and blankets and winter clothes out of the cupboards and put them in the sun.

However, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the temperature may rise slightly up to the central part of the country including the northern part of the country on Sunday. It can reduce the feeling of winter a little.

However, Meteorologist of the Meteorological Department Abdul Mannan said that winter starts in the country from December. Then the minimum temperature drops below 20 degrees Celsius. But this time, with the departure of monsoon winds, winter has appeared a little earlier. The temperature will drop in different parts of the country in the next few days. However, the temperature may rise somewhere. Then it will start to decrease again.

Panchagarh is feeling cold for a week in the afternoon. People who leave the house in the evening are wearing winter clothes. Rabiul Islam, a microbus driver of Panchagarh Sadar Upazila, said it was foggy from night till dawn. It is also a problem to drive a car. You have to drive very carefully as you can't see the road clearly due to fog.

Meteorologists say this winter may be a bit rainy. As the Bay of Bengal is still unusually hot, light pressure is being created there every seven to 10 days. It is raining in different parts of the country due to the resulting clouds. There may be intermittent rains throughout the rest of the winter.

The Meteorological Department has forecast two depressions and a cyclone in the Bay of Bengal for the rest of November. So this winter is expected to be quite disaster prone. In addition to more rain in winter, the intensity of winter may be more this time.
