By publishing the formulas of science with the help of mathematics, many important scientific inventions have been made possible through mathematical analysis. The real problems of science and technology are solved with mathematical equations. Naturally, almost all the universities in the world have mathematics departments. Students of many faculties including Science, Engineering, Biology, Commerce have to take supplementary courses under the Department of Mathematics. But today we are talking only about the mathematics department.

What is taught

Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Mathematical Analysis, Linear Algebra, Numerology, Integration Equations etc. are taught in the first and second year as undergraduate courses. The basic subjects of statistics, physics, computer science are as supplementary subjects. There are some lab courses in the first and second year, where there is an opportunity to clear ideas about the basics of mathematics using different computer software. There are some lab courses for this. Apart from this, several programming languages ​​including C, C Plus, Matlab are taught.

In most real cases it is not possible to find the exact value of the solution of mathematical equations. In this case, the approximate value is determined by controlling the deviation and this method is called numerical analysis. In this method the equations are solved by algorithms and the deviation is controlled and calculated through mathematical analysis. It is almost impossible to determine the value by calculation or by calculator. So quality assessment is taught through computer programming. Problems in different branches of science and technology are expressed and solved through internalization equations. For this, there is a course on numerical analysis in the third year. There are linear programming courses that are essential for determining optimal results in a variety of subjects. In addition, abstract algebra (abstract algebra), group theory (group theory) etc. are taught as abstract mathematics courses.

In the fourth year, functional analysis is taught as a necessary course for theoretical and numerical analysis of partial isolation equations. Internal geometry and tensor analysis are taught as important methods of mathematical analysis in space science. Some courses have to be done for qualitative analysis in engineering, biology, flow mechanics etc. In addition, there are many other issues. In the fourth year, research report has to be written in specific field of mathematics. Various courses of higher mathematical analysis are also offered at the postgraduate level. Postgraduate research report or thesis is also to be written. Through this, students can immerse themselves in international standard research in mathematics, science and technology, engineering, etc.

Where is the career

A bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics offers opportunities for teaching careers, worldwide higher education (PhD) and research from primary school to university. Besides, matriculation graduates are also involved in government jobs, banks and other corporate jobs.

What is the future?

Whether people will lose their jobs in the future due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution or artificial intelligence is an important topic of discussion right now. However, the importance of mathematics will not diminish in the future in the age of artificial intelligence. Because, the foundation stone of this age will be laid depending on the language of mathematics. Maybe in some cases the use of robots will increase, but the use of human mathematics will not decrease in any way.
