A famous event. Someone found a very precious diamond somewhere. He took it to a jeweler and asked about the diamond. The jeweler told him that the real value of it would be when it was embroidered. However, this work is very complex and sensitive. For this, a large sum of money has to be calculated. The man realized the value of the diamond in the jeweler's words and agreed to pay any fee for the work. He brought the jeweler to his house. One of the qualities of Jahuri was that he also knew songs. In the middle of the conversation, the man asked her to listen to a song. The jeweler began to sing to the tune of a song. Meanwhile, the evening has come closer by noon. At the end of the song, the jeweler said, "My pay day, my time is up." Hearing this, the man said in a surprised voice, what is the fee? You haven't touched the diamond yet! This time the jeweler said, ‘Hey, the price is time. And I gave it. So you have to pay the price now. As a result, he was forced to pay the fee.
You see, the man realized the real value of diamonds, but he had no sense of the value of time.
The same situation is with us. A big reason for our backwardness is that we do not realize the value of time and do not know how to use time properly. At one time it was impossible to imagine the speed at which the present world was advancing. But modern technology has made all this a reality.
It is a matter of great regret that these shelving technologies of today are being used by those who want to throw the whole world into the abyss of destruction. And the nation that is supposed to lead the whole world, that nation is empty today.
There is a famous Persian saying-
"If we are indifferent for a moment, we will fall behind a thousand months."
It is a fact that sometimes people fall behind hundreds of years due to momentary mistakes. The real wise man is the one who learns from the past and walks the path of the future with full determination and enthusiasm. He spends every moment calculating and trying to make the time more productive.
An Urdu proverb is-
"In the hands of destiny, the nation is like a sword, which at every moment counts its deeds."
In Surah Asr, Allah has sworn by the ages to speak of the loss of mankind. From this it becomes clear that the time that people gain is a very big and very important thing. There can be many things that can be properly evaluated and used properly. And he who is indifferent to it, who spends it in play, basically brings about his own downfall.
The first nation to be known at this time was the Muslim nation. But in today's society, this feeling seems to be the least among the Muslims. While other nations are relentlessly working towards their own goals, whatever their motives, the Muslim nation, which has the desired goal in front of it, does not feel that time is running out. But no benefit is being taken from it.
This is a widespread situation. However, this is not an exception. On this dark night, some lamps are burning in places, but it is not enough for that darkness. Lamps need more intensity. Especially when a random gust of crazy wind is blowing to extinguish those lamps.
The inspiration to light the lamp of faith, to make its light brighter, and to light innumerable more lamps is the inspiration to dissolve oneself like wax. At present, it is just a conflict between light and darkness. In this situation, it is the responsibility and duty of every believer, collectively and individually, to realize the true value of time and to be ever vigilant so that not a single moment is wasted. Proper use of God-given qualifications will sharpen the ray of faith. And it will be easier to deal with any darkness.
This is a common benefit of accurate assessment of time. If you think about it personally, you can guess how much time is worth for one person. But how it is being abused and destroyed. Sometimes the thought arises in my head that if I don't do this job now, what will happen to it? There is much more time ahead. But even for once, the idea is not that now and the future are not the same. Both are very valuable in their respective places. The time that has passed will never come. If it was destroyed, it was lost. Even after hundreds of cries, it will not come back. And that is why one of the teachings of Islam is that Muslims cannot do anything in vain. Because, he has been told the value of time and has also been taught the technique of making time more valuable.
Despite the closeness of time, man can only feel it, not perceive it. So man can never pass the time, time passes him.
