"Science has proven that to be happy requires conscious effort," said Laurie Santos, a professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at Yale University in the United States.

3. Meditate

Professor Santos said that when he was a student, he meditated regularly and saw that it made him feel better.
Now he is a professor, now he is teaching his students how to meditate. He said that full attention should be given to such work which can help people to be happy.
4. Spend more time with family and friends
Professor Santos says research has shown that you can be happy if you have a good time with family and friends.
They feel significantly better if you have good friendships and social contacts and direct communication between them.
It's not that you have to do too much, Santos said, "Just make sure you're alive at the moment, think you're spending the present time together and be a little aware of how you're spending your time."
Spending time with friends keeps the mind cheerful, says research.
“Your idea of time is very important for you to be happy,” he said.
"We often calculate our wealth by how much money we have. But research has shown that wealth is actually related to how much time we have," he said.
5. Increase this communication in practice instead of communicating on social media
