Nanjing Tower

The two towers,called Basco Verticale or Vertical Forest, are located in Milan,Italy.There are about 900 trees in the towers and 11,000 trees around the tower.Such forested towers are being built in cities in China,Mexico and Egypt, mainly to combat climate change.Construction of the tower began in 2009 and ended in 2014. One of these towers is 364 feet high and the other in 249 feet. It has been running since October 16,2014.This tower was degined by Boeri Studio Stefano Boeri,Gianandrea Barreca and Giovanni La Varra.On November 19,2014,the tower won the international Highrose Award. There is a tower in the city of Nanjing in China which is named 'Nanjing Tower'.
