They say when you see obstacles in your path, you're going the right way. Or you've heard, while playing a video game you'd find enemies on the right path else you're going the wrong way. where did this construct of having to face difficulties to justify success come from. Who said difficulties, opposition has to be a criteria for success, I want to believe this norm was born from individual points of view tailored into a collective.
Undeniably it is a common assessment, like it or not , however it by no means polishes it to be 100%. So many fortunate enough may have gone through their journey without experiencing difficulty. Bear in mind that difficulty, hurdles, opposition, enemies, setbacks are all relative as no two journeys are identical. Everyone has a separate and unique path to take from start to finish, how they undertake their ordeal or cruise is totally up for their discretion and what they face is theirs alone to endure, shoulders can come up to support them but the full brunt of the journey is for the protagonist of his own story.
This journey they would go on to call the road to the fulfilment of their destiny, later they'd say all this is the culmination of all their struggle, the end should surely justify the means.
