One of the things I have learned when working on myself or any project is to give it time. This is the reason most people back out of their dream too early just because it's not producing the required results.
I know we have deadlines and expectations for the things we want to achieve, but some of the things we want to change, build, or become will require patience from us.
The fact that it's not showing up immediately sometimes doesn't mean that we are not getting it right.
If you are building a team that will work together to achieve the organization's goals, you must give them time to learn about the job and each other. Don't assume that your children will get right immediately, give them time to learn how to make the right decisions.
That you are not getting the desired results doesn't mean that you are failing, it only means that you are going through a process of refinement.
Most importantly, learn everything you need to learn. If there is an area that you think should have produced the required results, do not hesitate to find out why it has not.
Don't assume that it will change, be in charge of the process, or result that you want to see. it might take you some time to figure it out but do not quite too early. It's also important that you give yourself time to refine your philosophy to fit the business that you are into.
The fact that it's not showing up now does it mean you are not doing as much as you should. Learn everything you need to learn and keep pushing.
