In the darkness, she holds.
In the night, she is bold.
In the light, she shadows her presence.
In the lost maze she crawls.
In the judgement she falls,
As the clouds soak the juice of her essence.
In mercy she cries
But in anger she hides;
In the silence she whispers of love.
In her deepness she wells
In her solitary hell,
Though her soul still calls out to above.
She is tough;She is deep.
She is secrets to keep.
She is heavy, she's angry; she feels.
So feel her dark night,
Guide her love to her light,
And watch how acceptance heals.
Though dark is her name,
And hurt plays her game,
She is hardened but waiting to crack,
So look on with pride
As her dark opens wide,
And she emerges;
The beauty in black.
