Science has proven that chronic, low-grade inflammation can turn into a silent killer that contributes to cardiovas­cular disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes and other conditions that become life threatening.

Did you know that when you fast for a certain length of time, your body eventually reaches autophagy. This is the body's way of cleaning out damaged and cancerous cells. Here are some simple tips to fight inflammation, reach autophagy and stay healthy.

-Avoid foods that cause inflammation like refined carbs. White and whole wheat bread & crackers, pastries, wraps, chips etc.

Refined white sugar. There's a chemical process that BLEACHES cane sugar turning it white. Sugar is extremely bad for the brain.

Fried foods.

Sodas, with sugar and sugar free as sugar free usually has a sugar alternative.

All processed food (packaged or boxed) Basically anything with a long list of ingredients, especially ones you can't pronounce, should be avoided.

Avoid in-organic foods. As they are normally sprayed with a chemical based pesticides, also cancer causing. If you can not afford organic, try avoiding "the dirty dozen" Google for more info. These are the most heaviest sprayed foods found in grocery stores.

Quit buying these foods, so you're not tempted to eat them at home.

-Keep up with exercising or some kind of cardio practice. Getting your body moving and blood rushing is a great way to keep your vessels healthy.

-Avoid toxic environments, physically and mentally. Avoid places with high air and noise pollution. If you're surrounded by people who are constantly pushing your boundaries, remove yourself. You're mental health is linked to your physical health.
