I asked him to stay at a hostel since he had not booked for a hotel in advance. After landing he couldn't find hotels and had to finally stay in a hostel. I asked him to use the metro, he used the auto rickshaw instead. The metro has Ac, there's no traffic, and is cheaper. He ended up paying so much more on the auto and also got tired with all the traveling. He hates the weather and is miserable here, and I hate to see him this way. But he wouldn't have had been this way had he listened to me! He keeps telling me how he's a traveller and knows his way. But I am a local, I've been living in Mumbai all my life! I asked him to meet me today in the evening because it'd be too hot to go out during the afternoon, he insisted on meeting at 2pm. He is a spoilt brat, I am too, therefore I can understand what he's going through. I can understand what slight inconveniences feel like when you're in a different city. It might hit about 35°C. I just woke up and I'm tired already. Let's see how it goes.
