Remember when the world is still okay? All people are enjoying going outside, travelling, and even do more outside their houses. But after this pandemic came, the world stopped. Less people came out only for essential walks, wearing mask to prevent the virus, and people can't even enjoy their vacations. But, what I do to forget the worries of mine, is to recall everything happend before this pandemic, including where we travelled just within the entire Cebu, what me and my classmates do often, and so much more! I'll share you all my enjoyments before.

Before we start, I can't eventually recall every event that happened, so I'll only write down those I remembered.

Travelling to Casino Peak, or known as Lugsangan Peak, the 2nd highest peak in Cebu

So, my family went to the Church to praising and worshipping the Lord every Sunday, but there's one time me and my other siblings didn't expect to happen. My mother said that we are going to the Casino Peak, also known as the Lugsangan Peak.

Casino Peak, or Lugsangan Peak is located at Dalaguete, Cebu. Its the 2nd highest peak of Cebu, as Osmeña Peak is the highest peak.

It took a few hours to get there, but we eventually take the shortcut near us. Basically, you can go to Dalaguete by going a roundtrip to the Southern Cebu, but you can take a shortcut if you are in Alegria. By just taking the road to Compostela, Alegria, Cebu, and follow the road, you'll arrived at Dalaguete in no time. Although the shortcut road is steep, so it's better not bring anything heavy in your vehicle, otherwise its gonna take a long time to arrive, or your gas might ran out before getting in the boundary. But bringing less things, the time getting in Dalaguete is lesser than just going around the South.

It is so big that I don't want to climb up. But since I was with my family, We climbed it to the very top. Seriously, you shouldn't look down when you're at the peak, because it's sooo tall that your skin will rise xD. But it's worth it, since yo can see the entire hills nearby, even the Osmeña Peak! You can also see the landscapes of Dalaguete and Badian and its island called Badian Island. The breeze and the victory for overcoming the fear I had, its so amazing. The view, the breeze, everything!

After a few minutes, we climbed down the peak and we go to Dalaguete to buy some cold Ice Cream, so delicious 😋.

The Southern Cebu Roundtrip

As my parents' anniversary started, our family is to go somewhere and enjoy the fun, or just going to the beach and smell the breeze of the sea. But my father had a plan that we didn't do yet, to round-trip the entire Southern Cebu!

This is the first round-trip we ever Had! It's so huge and costly if you ask my father. Our starting point is from Alegria, then to Santander, to Carcar City then going back to Alegria.

We prepared cooked food, the vehicle we use had to be full of gasoline, and ourselves for the trip. We done this in 4am, I think (for those who wondering if the time when this happen is school days, no, it's not, we had no classes that time.) and, we're off. My young sisters is still sleepy until we woke them up for the trip.

There's no some amazement until all the way to Oslob, where we start to look around for new things we didn't saw before. The view of the sea, I saw no island, not even one, but hey, at least there's beautiful view.

The road is not so steep, but not considered like a straight road, so we're like having a try on the biggest slide. Up, down, wiggle, it's so fun, I don't know I found it fun, but the fact it's like a slide makes me remember my fun at the playground before.

Between Oslob and Boljoon, you'll see the beautiful hills while driving 🚘 until you reached Boljoon.

It's almost 12pm and we're so hungry while on the road, so we stopped by the nearest seaport in Dalaguete. We saw jeepney that can be seen mostly in Manila, or in Cebu City. They use those jeepney to make their way to the mountain, where Lugsangan and Osmeña Peak located.

We ate some fried chicken bought from the fried chicken stand nearby, some soup, and even some great Lumpia! While eating, we really love the port and the sea nearby, like, there's no island to see, but the clean and beautiful sea makes it so beautiful.

After we took our lunch, we continued our journey.

After a few hours, we arrived at Argao! We saw some shrimp farms, which I didn't saw before, some beautiful people and places. We also saw the Philippine Science High School Central Visayas Campus.

I remember the day I was applying in there to study there when I'll graduate at the elementary school, but failed because of their hard entrance exam. I have it's so advanced, like I haven't learned that yet! But I took an another exam at Sibulan Science High School, which I was accepted to study there.

Moving on, after another few hours, we arrived at Carcar! We took a roundabout, which is so huge, but filled with traffic :(. But after we saw a Jollibee Restaurant, we stopped by. We ate Jolly Spaghetti, their delicious Chickenjoy, and some sundaes.

After that, we'll wrap up the whole trip, as we return home by taking the road to Badian, then to Alegria. We slept during that time so I don't know what to see, since we fully used our eyes to check around, and we already saw some places.

And at like 7pm, we arrived at Badian, where we will eat dinner. Behind Badian Sports Complex, there's a public market, and there's a food stands in there, that's where we eat. We bought my favorite food, Batchoy, barbecue in a stick and pancit. We're so full that we don't wanted another round after that, full of appetite.

After that, we drove to our home. Such a trip.

I didn't said anything more in detail because its like few years ago.

Having fun at and Cambais Falls

This happened during my cousin's birthday (Swimming at Cambais Falls).

My family planned to celebrate my little cousin's birthday at Cambais Falls before my cousin and her mother are going back to Negros Oriental.

Cambais Falls is located at Guadelope, Alegria, Cebu. The falls is secluded, and in the jungle as well. It's popular for swimming and cliff jumping.

We took our vehicle and drove from Madridejos to Compostela to Guadalupe. We arrived at our destination after a few minutes driving in a steep road, but it's worth it.

The water in there is cold and good for jumping and cannonball as they said. We had a fun time jumping towards the water and playing tag in the water. After a few minutes of swimming, we celebrated my cousin's birthday with a Black Forest cake for her. She's so happy that we celebrated her birthday with us. There's some kids who are resting after their fun, and we called them to join with us. They were shy, but they joined us after a few approaches xD. We enjoyed her birthday at the falls.

There's so many things I want to share, but I can't even remember the past you know?
