Who doesn't love fuchka? Young, old, girl, boy, man, woman every bengali is fond of this tasty mouth watering delicacy. Even when I am writing this article and seeing the picture, my salivary glands are releasing saliva.

The added picture is of the fuchka me and my sister tried to make at home couple of days ago. It turned out to be really tasty. Also it was a new experience for us.

The reason behind I mentioned it as a "tradition" is that fuchka is attached to bengali's life for a long time. Other countries of the indian sub continent is also familiar with this. Like in India it is called panipuri. In Bangladesh, the popularity of fuchka can be understood by anyone if they just take a walk along any road of our country. I can guarantee they will find at least one fuchka store on any road here.

Fuchka also makes memories for a lot of people. Like friend groups often enjoy fuchka while gossiping and chatting. Later in their life they remember those moments and get lost in nostalgia. Couples sometimes eat fuchka while having some love chat.

On various national or religious occasions, many fuchka stands are set on the public places. The helpers always keep calling people to go to their shop and enjoy fuchka. Thus through a long journey in time...fuchka has become a part of our tradition.
