I started learning music in the mid-70s when I was a kid. Fascinated. After 2 years of music theory, I needed to choose an instrument. I wanted to play the piano, but it was a too big dream then. My parents couldn't afford to buy me a piano. It was very expensive. So I chose to play the saxophone. They sacrificed themselves to buy me a beautiful alto saxophone Selmer Mark VII. They believed in me, for sure. I learned to play the saxophone while continuing to study theory in parallel. I then took my first steps live by joining a small local jazzband, but also the harmonic band (a city band that plays for events). Great adventures! A lot of fun and laughter. Camaraderie..
I ended up leaving the saxophone in its case a few years later. Before I finally buy a guitar and learn to play. But it will be in another story that I will tell soon. A life playing blues and rock'n roll.. before finally starting to compose electronic music, somewhere in 2008. **And here I am!**
My meeting with **electronic music** was also made at that time, towards the end of the 70s when **Jean Michel Jarre** released his first Album "**Oxygène**" (1976). It was really kind of alien space music at this time. The beginnings of electronic music!

You will find people who post almost all day, so they are clearly here to try to make the most money. And not to write quality articles, or even share ideas, or even their lives. Somewhere, it’s still spam.. clogging up the main page. I saw some every 30 minutes from some users. Calm down!! :0))
**What Read Cash can do to fight this scourge?**
**A limited number of potential paid publications per 24 hours cycle?**
It would mean that beyond this defined number, the articles of are no more remunerated by the common fund.
What would be the right average?
Should Read Cash want or need to impose a quota about daily publications?
**What are your thoughts?**
I'm sure communities are lowering spam or copy pasted content, a daily quota of number of publication per day could help this "fight". In my opinion.

I'm a little busy in music these last days, working on my next Album "**Electronic Patterns**" under **Solar Phasing**. I will reveal a full track next week. Solo, I am Solar Phasing, a composer of electronic, experimental, and orchestral music. But in another musical universe I write songs and I also compose music for a band with 70's influences, which today tend to go towards progressive rock: **Alchemic Journey**. I play guitar there and I'm a chorister. We stayed more than 2 months without being able to play together, or even meet. COVID19 containment requires. The pandemic has canceled many concert dates. Some were postponed later. The clouds moving away, we are now authorized to repeat, and under certain conditions, to be able to play again in public. We took the opportunity to play for this June 21, 2020 for the "**Fête de la Musique**" (music fest). An event celebrated every year throughout France. As right now, all major events have been definitively canceled, being able to play this June 21 is a blessing. No Wifi on a Linux Medion Laptop [Resolved]
Hello Readcash Friends! :0)
I was faced with a big problem with Linux on a Laptop. I share it because it can help people with a similar problem.
I had to install Linux on two machines to a friend. Machines not new and therefore not very efficient. This required finding the right version of Linux for each machine. A Dell 32-bit Desktop, and a 64-bit Laptop Medion.
Preparation of bootable USB keys with Linux version for each machine.
The one who asked me the problem, the laptop, is a **Medion Notebook S4219**. It was a question of finding a compromise between good performance and comfort of use. For someone who wants to permanently switch from Windows to Linux, **Linux Mint** is a great choice. But there, big problem: once installed the system did not detect the WiFi card, and therefore: no network available. This Medion machine does not have an Ethernet slot, no RJ45 connection possible. Forget also a possible internet connection sharing on your smartphone in BlueTooth, of a few kb/s only, for daily use. Pain! But.. this option still allowed me to recover the necessary to solve the problem.
First thing was to detect the Chipset, the devices, and find the Wifi card to retrieve the right drivers.

No wifi there
`lspci | grep -i network`
Still nothing there
`lsusb`
**Bingo!** Here it is! Ok, its an internal USB Wifi card. A Realteak one, drivers ref after a quick researsh: RTL8723BU
You can get them on Github, but you need to compile the drivers after download.
`git clone https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8723bu.git`
Prepare it & compile it:
`sed -i 's/EXTRA_CFLAGS += -DCONFIG_CONCURRENT_MODE/#EXTRA_CFLAGS += -DCONFIG_CONCURRENT_MODE/g' ~/rtl8723bu/Makefile`
`cd rtl8723bu/`
`make -j 8`
`sudo make install`
`sudo modprobe -v 8723bu`

Pink Floyd Live at Pompei [Sunday Music]

Ok, for this first one, maybe a classic, the **Pink Floyd** performance at **Pompei**.
This video on Youtube is just a part of the performance. The first release of Pink Floyd at Pompei is a 60 minutes one (1972). Then published again with a 20 minutes additional documentary (1974). And a Director's Cut DVD from 2003 with a 91 minutes lenght.
Pompei is a city and ancient city located in Campania, Italy. She is famous for being buried during a Vesuvius eruption. A neighboring volcano a few kilometers away, during the fall of the year 79 (AD).
The Pink Floyd performance at Pompei is from 1971.

Personally, I appreciated when we arrived on the ReadCash home page and that the new publications were presented by theme. This version did not stay online very long.
In addition, today, the first articles which are presented to us when we arrive on the home page are those named "Hot", I would prefer "News", or even have the choice to select what I would like to display. Maybe the team could work on this feature. Leave it to the reader to choose whether he prefers to see the "news" or the "most read" articles, etc.. Maybe some things even more scalable.
The more a reader has the choice to personalize their home page, the more they will feel good on a platform. Did you have some plans for that @Read.Cash ? I would be cool! Thank you very much! :0)

Spreading The Word about Bitcoin Cash!

It's all about spreading the word about Bitcoin Cash. Nope? Ok, what a great project! But, in reality, what a close circle. No real spread.
I see many projects emerging, and ultimately not much in terms of help on social networks or even on Bitcoin Cash web sites. I mean, it's not by staying between us that we're going to spread the good news about BCH. I can only encourage you to move your ass to make the minimum effort. haha ha.
Twitter is one of the best tool, for example. I share what I found interesting, and many of my Bitcoin Cash tweets came from here. Ok, I was 3 months off, I just came back since something like one week, but I support people, I support projects. I share and I spread the word.

A promising project, certainly. But slow to execute. Let's go back a bit.. It was in December 2019 that all the big announcements were made to recover the artists of Choon. We are in May 2020. Gentlemen, what are you waiting for? I have never seen a platform with such limited functionality when launched. They have just been slightly updated, that is to say that you can upload your tracks alone. It's an Alpha phase, ok! But you are already asking to pay subscriptions. The artist profile is a simple page with the tracks, no possibilities for the music lover to fav it, fav tracks or anything else. ?! Move a little more fast, maybe. **Emanate** is based on EOSIO blockchain and the EMT token is used for access and governance. The Team look a good one, open to listening to artists, and doing the best to fix the things. But will that be enough?! Because there are two very important aspects to deal with, the artist side and the music lover side. And to attract music lovers, the site must be attractive, ergonomic, functional. Some of the music platforms that emerge on the blockchain forget this second part, which is probably the most important for a viability in the medium and long term: **music lovers**! Music Creative Process

Today I will speak about the creative process. How things usually take shape. I like to start from scratch because you never know what will be created and where you're going to go.
It usually starts this way: I start my equipment, I look for sounds with my different synthesizers or my sound banks. The mood of the moment probably influences the approach. I start to play some chords on the keyboard or a melody. At this point it's just a matter of seeing how it sounds. There is no common thread yet.Sometimes a chord or a sequence of chords suggests a melody, mentally. You hear it in your head. The brain has the capacity to play notes in your head, to suggest melodies, to suggest the next chord, to anticipate. And then things start to take form, sometimes a door opens and we enter it, the way is traced, the idea of the track is there.

When I have a song structure that is ready, I let it play in a loop, I come back to it often. Leaving it running in the background while you perform other tasks suggests melodies. And you begin to sing melodic lines. It is good too for arrangements, the structure of the track. The hindsight is always good. It is even necessary. I try to get to the point, without overloading the track. It is probably for this reason that I became minimalist.

**A global vision**
It will take several years before blockchain-based music platforms become popular. By popular, I mean adopted and recognized by everyone, including ordinary people, having not or very little integrated the concept of crypto currencies, for now. **For this, crypto currencies must be adopted massively**. Each passing day is one step closer to a massive adoption, but there is still a long long way to go. There will likely be a number of obstacles. But.. I cannot bring myself to see things differently. Tomorrow, the money will be dematerialized. Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are the future. Despite everything, the projects that see the light today, could very well still be there tomorrow, prevailing. Look at how Spotify was born and how long it took to be profitable. **We have a role to play**

Without us they cannot do it. It's a fact! They need us to create a viable model based on cryptocurrency. We are the guinea pigs. Consenting. But also pioneers. Masters of DOOM
Hey guys,
Some of you probably run **Doom** on a DX 33 or something like that when the game was released. DOOM! A revolution in the video games world at that time! & Lot of fun!
I remember running the demo before buying the game after a PC upgrade. Because I wasn't able to play the game with sound.. not enough ressources. It was so impressive. I was hungry with a demo without sound, so I bought a brand new PC able to run games. Able to run Doom! :0))

These compositions were recorded in 2009 in France for a scifi space opera musical storyboard. The project was aborted. Bitcoin Cash and Music Microtransaction?
Hello Read.Cash friends,
Imagine the case of an artist who wants to sell his art on the blockchain without going through any intermediary. This artist has just released a new album and is promoting on social media, his website, or by newsletter, and wishes to offer this album with a payment option by BitcoinCash.
I have a few questions for you because it's been a while since I've been thinking about this option of how could I start selling my music by accepting payments in cryptocurrency. It would have to be something very simple, both for the artist and for the listener who would like to buy music this way.
**What cryptocurrencies to use?**
Bitcoin Cash seems to me the best solution.
**What are the solutions?**
The major problem is obviously not the payment, but how the artist retrieves data, a minimum to be able to send the music. And this is where I need the advice of Bitcoin Cash specialists, developers, or knowledgeable people on this subject.

Klaus Schulze is a pioneer on electronic music landscapes. If you love electronic music and never heard about him, I hightly recommend you to check all the work he have done. Starting with this one from 2006/2007.
He was the first drummer of **Tangerine Dream**. Later, he moves to create the band **Ash Ra Tempel**, creating at the same time the **Space Rock** music genre. He started a solo career as **Klaus Schulze** after discovering the brand new synthetizers sounds on the early 70's. That was before Tangerine Dream, even. It's the father of the **Berlin School**, we can say. With an incredible sums of great albums. His music is usually based on repetitive patterns, notes sequences, and long improvisation of melodies and phrases. Well..
