A move for Lautaro Martinez is back on the agenda at Barcelona.
During July, Lautaro's release clause of 111 million euros expired, leaving Barcelona free to negotiate a lower transfer fee but also giving Inter the freedom to dictate the price.
There has been talk of a possible move for Memphis Depay in recent days, but Lautaro remains the No.1 target at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona will try to include some of their own players in any deal to sign the Argentine and there are plenty of options at the moment.
Inter have practically agreed personal terms with Nelson Semedo over a move, but there is no agreement on the player's value between the two clubs.
For the moment, Barcelona are in talks to extend the right-back's contract at the Camp Nou.
Arturo Vidal and Junior Firpo have also been linked as players who could act as makeweights in the deal, although Inter don't want the Chilean.
If the Blaugrana can't prise Lautaro away from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, then Depay is next on the list.
Koeman knows the Lyon forward well, having worked with him with the Dutch national team.
Depay wouldn't cost nearly as much as Lautaro, with the 26-year-old valued at around 50 million euros.
Either way, Barcelona are looking to strengthen their attack as they plan for life after Luis Suarez.
