The temperature of the earth is increasing day by day. Suddenly the temperature in Europe has started rising since the eighties. Natural disasters are happening all over the world. Extreme levels of storms, cyclones, tidal surges, abnormal snowfalls, volcanic eruptions, heavy rainfall, and droughts are increasing in East Asian countries and in the Americas. Excessive carbon dioxide emissions are being blamed for this unusual behavior of nature. There is no adequate response from the developed states and those responsible for carbon emissions to protect against its effects. The situation is getting worse and worse. That is why, on April 22, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, at the Virtual Climate Conference convened by US President Joe Biden, emphasized the need for action plans to keep global warming at 1.5 degrees Celsius and the exchange of carbon emissions technology between the green economy and countries.

In fact, the effects of climate change are very visible. Desert is a vast expanse of uninhabited hot sand dunes. But this traditional form is changing. Scientists have found green in the Sahara Desert. Tree growth is also seen in the icy continent of Antarctica. The arrival of green in the desert and snow-covered white land is making environmentalists think a little! As we have seen in our childhood, no matter how cold it gets in winter, the morning sun slowly clears the fog and shines in the sky. And now in winter the sun is not visible day after day. The memory of sunbathing in winter may not even be in the minds of today's generation of children. Winter, summer, rain seems to be turning upside down.

From the general public to the conscious people, I think there are states, the United Nations, multinational organizations and experts to think about climate change or these issues, it is their business. It has nothing to do with ordinary people like us. But individual initiative is also important in mitigating the effects of climate change and pulling the reins of climate change.

The use of such plastic products has become a part of our way of life. From toothbrushes, cotton buds to dishes, roof water tanks are all made of plastic. About 5 lakh plastic bottles are being sold every minute in the world. Just as this plastic has made our lives easier, so have its side effects endangered all the animals, the environment and above all the earth.Farmers' farmland, ponds, roads are full of plastic waste. In Dhaka city alone, 12 million plastic bag are being dumped in ponds, ditches, rivers and seas every day. According to BBC News, 6 million tons of plastic waste is dumped in the world every year, and by 2050 this figure will rise to 13 million tons per year. This is not the end of the polythene, plastic bag, lakes, lying on the roads, waterlogging and adverse effects on the environment. These plastic bags and polythene that have fallen into the sea are slowly changing the course of the sea, which in turn is accelerating climate change.

Instead of the plastic products we use for household and other needs, we have to take initiative to use tin, aluminum, steel and, if necessary, earthenware. It will protect individuals and families as well as involve themselves in maintaining the balance of climate and nature. In order to reduce the price of alternative plastic products, it is necessary to provide easy loans to the concerned entrepreneurs. Individuals or families who can minimize the use of plastic products will need to be rewarded and encouraged by the government. Reducing the use of AC or refrigerator can reduce the amount of greenhouse gases.

According to a study by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, bags used to carry groceries take 20 years to blend into nature.Plastics used for tea, coffee, juice, or soft drinks last 50 years, and diapers and plastic bottles last up to 450 years. Man-made factors are now more important than natural causes of climate change, and the level of plastic waste is only increasing.

We all know that trees, plants and herbs play a big role in surviving the evils of climate change and pulling the reins of climate change. The planting of trees in state, social, family and private initiatives has been started for a long time. Trees are being planted in roads, offices, courts, houses and vacant lots. Social forestry activities are also going on quite vigorously. Roof garden activities have also gained wide popularity in urban areas for some time now. But it is playing a big role in preventing air pollution in urban areas.

The amount of food wasted in the world every year is used to produce 1.4 billion hectares of land, which is 26 percent of the world's total agricultural land. In the production of this surplus and wasted food, agricultural land is being increased by destroying the forest land, which is accelerating the environmental pollution and climate change. Every year, 3.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide is released into the air due to wasted food. Dirt, phlegm and spitting around the house affects the environment and climate. These issues may seem insignificant and insignificant when viewed in isolation and separately, but how extensive and far-reaching is the overall sum of the careless behavior of a fraction of the world's 600 billion people?

Many countries around the world are adopting various plans and pilot projects to prevent climate disasters. Saudi Arabia has taken the initiative to build a city of 26,500 square kilometers with all kinds of pollution-free state-of-the-art facilities, including carbon emissions. It will take 10 years to build. No cars will run in this completely pollution free city, this city will be a business hub with employment and modern facilities for about 34 lakh people!

In October last year, the Prime Minister said at the Midnight Survival Deadline for the Climate Leaders' Event at the Climate Damage Forum, “Today is the most important turning point in our time. The adverse effects of climate change are damaging our civilization, destroying our planet and threatening our very existence. Today is the time to take action to save the world, not tomorrow. '
