The short answer is yes. If you were to look at both Biden and Trump strictly from an odds perspective keeping their histories in mind, Trump would be a better choice.
First, I am an independent registered voter neither hardcore Democrat nor Republican. I vote for who I believe has the best odds of doing the right thing in the white house and the best job.
There is no denying that both Trump and Biden are not squeaky clean when it comes to shady deals and their past. Neither one will ever be a saint. However, Biden has spent the majority of his career in politics. This means most of his dark dealings have been tied up someway in the political world.
Trump's dealings have been mostly out of politics dealing with his businesses. Yes, he might have had some dealings and trying to influence politicians. Yet, he was not sworn into office to represent the American people until he became President.
Biden on the other hand has been accumulating his wealth under an oath to represent Americans and look out for their interests and not his own. Although his net worth is reported around 9 million at this time, I can assure you there is likely a lot more money in places no one really knows about. Also, there is likely money in things that have not been paid out yet.
Looking at all of the evidence from his past and most recently it would be really hard for anyone to not believe Biden has not peddled influence to enrich at least his family members if not even himself. This is a big problem no matter how you look at it. Just taking his son and introducing him to foreign leaders around the world is a big problem. There is no way to deny this hasn’t happened.
The big issue with Biden is he is comprised as a political leader. Just the time he has been in politics for over 47 years there is no way he would not be.
When it comes to Trump he was already quite wealthy when he became President and so is most of his family. There could be Trump family members that still want to add to their financial portfolio, but Trump has made and lost money for so long his focus is not really enriching himself. At his age and with his ego it should be apparent that he wants the recognition as being a great President.
Trump's ego trip at this point has more to do with being the greatest President rather than the richest greatest business man. Biden and his family are still trying to accumulate even more wealth I can assure you to improve their position of power.
Trump already has money and successful businesses. His focus is to be the best President to improve his family power. The money is already there. In many ways, power is a combination of politics and money. Biden has the politics, but still is working for more money. Trump has the money and is working on politics. Their interests are very different.
This election is something in many ways I can understand and in other ways does not make much sense. The problem is I believe many voters for Biden have been blinded by so many underlying problems.
One of the issues is how Trump is not “Presidential.” People are turned off by his ego and arrogance. What most people fail to realize is I can almost guarantee Biden is similar behind closed doors. You do not get to the level in business or politics both Biden and Trump have without being arrogant and narcissistic. The difference is Biden is a career politician. He acts the part.
You can sometimes see a small sample of Biden’s true self when he is confronted with something that makes him angry. Trust me when I say he is not much different in arrogance and ego than Trump.
Another issue with the election is the condition American is in. Trump would like to say that he greatly improved the economy and wages before the pandemic. From a wage perspective with the numbers, most people did make more money. However, the cost of medical care, higher education, and housing have gone up much faster than those wage increases.
Many young adults in America are not living in the same world their parents and grandparents did. A college education was never a guarantee of success but today those odds have gone . Many college graduates are underemployed or unemployed. Furthermore, an increasing number of college-educated people never reach the earning potential higher education should bring. The point is when people feel they do not have a chance for upward mobility and they have given up then they just want to live a life. The only way to do this in the minds of many people is with the government's help. Thus, socialism starts to sound more appealing.
What many Biden supporters fail to realize is the loss of American jobs and low pay is partly to blame on politicians just like Biden. They have been in favor of outsourcing jobs for years and NAFTA itself was a disaster for the American worker. Many of the democratic party have created an environment where a growing number of people would start to favor socialism.
Look at it any way you want to. The government being in control of most products and services is not a good thing. It is a form of control and not freedom.
Another issue with the recent election and Biden is many supporters do not see the big picture. Electing Biden as President will likely put the vice Presidential candidate in as the President at some point. I would say there is a good chance Kamala will be in the President's seat within a few years. If not, she only took the vice nominee to try and improve her run for 2024.
Look at the past of Kamala in politics and there are some also very shady dealings. For the people that hate Trump because of his arrogance and ego, Kamala may have an even larger ego and narcissistic outlook. Although Kamala and her husband have a net worth in the millions, she too will have an interest in improving her financial strength. Remember money and politics together is the ultimate power.
Kamala simply would not have taken the vice Presidential nomination unless it would improve her chances to be President. Voters of Biden have failed to realize that this may happen much faster than they realize. She is ultimately more arrogant and narcissistic than Trump.
Joe Biden will simply be worse than Trump because to improve his ego further will require even more wealth. Kamala will do the same. Trump is trying to improve his ego by being the best President for the American people. He and his family are already wealthy for generations.
Biden’s ulterior motive is wealth, power, and control. Trump’s motive is strictly ego and arrogance which most people should easily see. He is an egomaniac but what is driving him is much different than Biden. This is why Biden is going to be much worse.
From and odds perspective of history and past, Biden is not the best choice. This election was not about the best choice. It was only about the odds of a better choice and Biden is not it. This is why he will likely be worse. He might not be worse but the odds are not good.
