Many people heard about Pattaya, Phuket, Bangkok and its "lady bars".

It is true and it is a big industry in Thailand. But it is just for foreign tourists.

how about nightlife for local people in not touristic cities ?

Resto-Bars

Thai people like eat outside and like hang out for dinner.

In not touristic cities, there is no lady bars, no bar fines, no tablemate hostess girls.

Thai style nightlife is based on resto-bars. Always have live music with plenty singers on stage for performing Thai songs

Totally wooden as you can see in many Thai cities. Thai people have dinner ( Thai food ) and drink ( beers and whiskey).

Each resto-bar has many singers and they sing one by one. when a singer performs a song, other singers vocal to the performer. then singing and vocal positions change after finish each song.

Staff ladies wear decent and their duty is serving food to tables & fill the empty glasses. Usually, they don't sit with customers, except friends come.

No dancing areas in Thai areas. everybody dances near to their table. Most males do not dance for being cool and ladyboys ( which called Kathoey in Thai language ) and females dance.

Depends on what you eat and drink, the cost for 2 pax can be 1000 to 2000 Baht. ( 30 to 60$ )

How about clubs?

even in a few populated small Thai cities, you can find classy clubs with good quality.

Many of them become crowded after midnight till 4 am or 5 am depends on province internal rules.

Usually not have many chairs in these clubs, only tables. Plenty of singers with crowded dancers performing Thai songs at stage.

Lights and sounds systems are in very good quality.

Many of them serve only drinks, not foods

Staff approach is same resto-bars.

Karaokes and KTVs

Have standard karaoke bars for local people sing Thai songs and KTV for naughty guys.
