Life and science after death:
Death is the end of life. The instability of life and the inevitability of death lead to existential anxiety. This is the existential disorder on which the edifice of religion has been built. Because only man has a sense of the uncertainty and instability of life, that is why the rest of the animals did not invent any religion, nor did they create any myths of paradise and eternal life. He is the man who formed religion out of fear of death and invented concepts like eternal life and paradise to satisfy himself. Religion is based on the soul which in philosophy, psychology and theology is referred to as soul, self, caste or consciousness and which is eternal in its nature and will remain alive even after the death of man. I have recently posted on what is soul and spirituality. Now we will only see if the soul / eternal consciousness has an external being that is intact even after death and can guarantee life after death. Modern scientific research, especially neurobiology, denies the existence of the soul or eternal consciousness or life after death with the help of the following arguments and evidence:
1. According to neurobiology, the soul / eternal consciousness has no external existence but it is a function of human brain. Neurons are cells that receive electrical impulses and chemical signals in the brain and create consciousness by processing the external information received through the five senses. This is why when a brain injury disrupts the networking of neurons, unconscious states arise, such as not understanding things properly, distorting perceptions, losing contact with the outside world, and so on. This means that consciousness or soul is a function of the material mind, and when the mind dies, so does consciousness.
2. The universe is made up of matter and according to the first law of thermodynamics matter or energy can neither be destroyed nor created but only their forms can change and that is why the amount of matter and energy in the universe is equal. Is. After death, our atoms will remain scattered in the universe, but not our soul or consciousness because the source of consciousness is not atoms but sense organs. The thing that separates a living being from a non-living thing is a cell. In humans, it is the cells that give birth and sustain life. Because of these cells, sense organs play a role in the development of life. The five sense organs or the five senses send information to the brain and the network of neurons in the brain processes and interprets that information which leads to consciousness. Everyone knows that cells die or die, and when brain cells die or humans die, cells die and so does consciousness, because consciousness is a function of brain cells or neurons when there are no cells. Consciousness is also lost.
3. There are many fields in the universe such as electromagnetic field which are necessary for the basic particles such as electrons, photons etc. in which they travel. Now science says that the particles are actually fields that are everywhere in the universe. Regarding these fields, the famous scientist Neil de Grace Tyson has said that, so far we have not found any spiritual field on the basis of which it can be said that there is a soul and after the death of man or before he dies Travels in the spiritual field or leaves a mark of its own.
4. If the soul or consciousness were eternal then it would have existed somewhere before the birth of man and he would have possessed the world before him and his knowledge and If consciousness were poured out, man would know a lot at an early age. But we see that man learns the knowledge of the world from his own hard work and effort from childhood and while setting the stages of learning gives birth to many social and scientific sciences.
