Rape of 2 Girls: 4 members of juverile gang held in Savar

Four members of a juvenile gang were arrested yesterday for their alleged involvement in the gang-rape of two teenage girls in Savar's Ashulia.

Meanwhile, in separate districts, at least three persons have been arrested and four more sued for rape since Tuesday.

Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station, said they conducted a raid in Vadail area of Ashulia and arrested four juveniles.

Quoting one of the victims' friend, police said the victims used visited Ashulia's Vadail area around a month ago. A group of 12 to 14 juveniles took them to a nearby place and gang-raped them.

"They also shot the incident on camera and shared on social media," the victims' friend, who was also beaten up by the gang, told police
