WHAT's NEXT FOR CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN
Christian Eriksen played in his ninth game for club and country since he returned from a cardiac arrest he suffered, while playing for Denmark against Finland in Euro 2021. His contract expires at the end of the season. The 30-year-old has also shown that he can play at a very high level. He caused United a lot of problems, delivered pin Point crosses and created a chunk of the chances Brentford had today; he also tested the keeper with a stinging shot from a free kick.
He has a big decision to make this summer, whether to rerun with Brentford, who believed in him and gave him a contract, or to sign for bigger clubs that will surely come his way.
