Politics is a system of methodology or activities associated with running a government.

Theory is a coherent statement or set of ideas that explains, observed facts or phenomena or which set out rules of something known or observed.

Revolution is a political upheaval in a government or nation state characterized by great change.

Political Theory gives us a better understanding that have shaped our politics including freedom, equality, individuality, justice and democracy.

Nigeria political system had no political Theory which should be the bedrock of a true democracy. The same principles such as voting, parliament, constitution, judiciary that are suggestive of gains such as responsible use and peaceful transfer of power may not have translated fully into socio-political empowerment for responsibility and representation in evolving democratic practice in Nigeria due to the problems of agency and political ideology. Nigeria has defied the beauty of national democracy. The Nigeria system of government has to go on a methodology revolution by applying "CLASSICAL LIBERALISM".The growth of liberalism in Nigeria was very much witnessed during the period after colonialism. The condition of affairs not only make political stability and development difficult but also stifies the natural ingenuity of the people to grow. All attempted palliatives by different administrations have all failed and a very bitter 3year civil war between 1967-1970 in which millions lives were lost was the first major manifestation of the problem in post colonial Nigeria.

So therefore,Nigeria system of government has to be on a revolution era in this 21st century by enacting the ideals of Jhon Rawls on political liberalism which centers on liberty, equality and differences are examined to reduce their level of coherence, relevance and utility of the Nigeria society so as to make the lives of the citizenry and the nation at large better.
