Go By A Heart This brought me to tears. What a powerful lesson on time a rich man was retiring when an angel of death came to him. He had worked long and hard to acquire massive wealth and retire in luxury, and could not believe that his time was up. Being a very wealthy person, he decided to buy some more time from the angel of death at any cost. He bargained for a long time but the angel was unmoved. desperate, the rich man made the last proposal to the angel… Give me just 1 hour of my life, so that I could admire the beauty of this earth for the last time and spend some time with my family and friends whom I haven't seen for a longtime and I wil give you all of my wealth. But the angel refused again. Finally, the man asked if the angel could give him at least one minute so that he could write a goodbye note. His wish was granted and he wrote a note.. "spend your time , which was given to you, in the right way. I couldn't buy even an hour of life with all of my wealth. Listen to your heart and check if the things surrounding you have a true value . cherist every moment of your life." Thank your for reading this ☺️ do u learn Something from this story ? Please comment and share it to us ☺️ #moralstory-Sincer

June 6 1944 On this day in 1944, the allied forces or America, Britain, and Canada stormed the coast of Normandy to liberate northern France from Nazi Germany's control. Known as D-Day, the start of Operation is one of the largest amphibious military assaults in history. The operation is also the turning point of world war II in Europe. On the dawn of 6 June, thousand or paratroopers from allied forces were deployed behind enemy lines to capture bridge and exit roads across France. Due to earlier deception operations, the beaches of Normandy were less guarded. On D-Day, about 156,000 allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy to fight off the German forces .with ensuing aerial attacks and naval bombardments, the beaches fcodnamed Gold,Juno,Sword ,and Utah were immediately captured but the troops faced strong opposition at the Omaha beach,By 11 June, all the five beaches were fully secured with over 326,000 troops and 50,000 vehicles landed on the region . En the of June 148,OOO vihicles in Normandy.BY August, northwestern France was liberated from Germany. Cute another facet about D-Day.

Around 749 Allied soldiers were killed As a preparation for the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, the allied force conducted a dress rehearsal codename exercise tiger. In April 1944 they started landing on slapton sands in Devon, England as part of the rehearsal. The place was selected because of its similarity to the beaches Normandy .excercise tiger aimed to provide the American force with a realistic experience of the battle. The operation included large tank landing ships, fully loading equipment along with british escort vessels. To familiarize the troops to naval bombardment, live ammunition from cruisers and destroyers was included in the excercise. However, due to delays and communication problems, the rehearsal resulted in 749 deaths and hundreds of injured soldiers.other sources counted 946 American servicemen were killed from the exercise. While some of the soldiers were killed from friendly fire, many died from the german e-boats attack in the lyme bay. Others who jumped from wrecked landing ships either drowned or died of hypothermia. Many of those who did not survive were not trained on the use of life vest and drowned still wearing their heavy combat gear. Over the concerns of potentialleaks prior to D-day, the incident was covered up and was only reported afterward.

Pinoy Short Story Part 4 Ang tatlong Akyat-bahay ~~~ May tatlong akyat-bahay na magkakaibigan, sina Emman, Norman, at Gray. Magkakahiwalay silang lumakad no'ng gabing 'yon. #ShortStories

Pinoy Short Story part 3 Bye, Ryan “O, ikaw, Bill, ano una mong gagawin pagkatapos nitong lockdown?”

"Ha, e may hinihintay akong suki e." "Po? E lagi kitang nakikita dito. Wala namang bumibili sa'yo e." "Meron a. #Short story

Pianono (Filipino Sponge Cake Roll)   **Pianono with soft, pillowy sponge cake and creamy margarine and sugar filling. This Filipino-style jelly roll is mildly sweet and the perfect accompaniment to tea or coffee.**   Prep Time10 mins Cook Time20 mins Total Time30 mins   Course: Baked Goods, Snack Cuisine: Filipino   Servings: 12 Servings   Calories: 173kcal   Author: Bebs Lott Ingredients   5 pieces eggs 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar (optional) 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup flour 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 3 tablespoons powdered sugar   **FILLING** 1 stick margarine, softened 2 tablespoons granulated sugar   Instructions   Separate egg yolks from egg whites.  In a bowl, beat the egg whites using a mixer at low speed for 1 minute or until frothy.   Sprinkle the cream of tartar on top and continue beating until soft peaks form.  Gradually add 1/4 cup of the granulated sugar, a tablespoon at a time, while continuously beating. Once all sugar is added, turn up the speed to medium and continue beating the meringue until it forms stiff glossy peaks.   In a large bowl, cream together the egg yolks, the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until it becomes light in texture and color.  Sift the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder and add to the egg yolk mixture. Mix well. Gently fold in a third of the meringue into the egg mixture and then add the rest and fold until well combined. Pour the batter into a 15x10x1-inch pan lined with wax or parchment paper.  Bake in a 375 F oven for about 15 minutes or until the cake is golden. Remove from oven and loosen the edges of the cake. Transfer the cake including the wax paper to a rack and allow to cool.  When cool enough to handle, trim off about 1/4 inch of the hard crust on the long sides of the cake. Dust a wax or parchment paper with powdered sugar and invert cake onto the paper. Gently peel the other wax paper off the cake.  Beginning with the narrow side, roll the cake up together with the wax paper. Let it cool down completely, seam side down, for 10 to 15 minutes. Once the cake has cooled, gently unroll and spread cake with softened margarine and sprinkle with granulated sugar and re-roll.  Cut into 1-inch thick slices to serve.   Nutrition Calories: 173kcal | Carbohydrates: 18g | Protein: 3g | Fat: 9g | Saturated Fat: 2g | Cholesterol: 69mg | Sodium: 120mg | Potassium: 119mg | Sugar: 12g | Vitamin A: 450IU | Calcium *Pianono with soft, pillowy sponge cake and creamy margarine and sugar filling. This Filipino-style jelly roll is mildly sweet and the perfect accompaniment to tea or coffee.* What is Pianono? Pianono or Pionono is a type of pastry popular in Spain, South America, and the Philippines. It was named after the late Pope Pius IX or ‘Pio Nono’ as the good people of Italy called him, where the pope hailed. The original creator of Pionono, however, is from Santa Fe, Granada of Spain, Ceferino Ysla Gonzalez, who is a devotee of the Virgin Mary. The story says that some years after Pope Pius IX proclaimed a dogma of the Immaculate Conception, Gonzalez decided to pay homage by creating these mini bite-size cakes shaped in the likeness of the Pope and of course named them after him as well. What is Filipino Pianono? Similar to its Spanish and South American counterparts wherein bread or pastry dough is rolled around various fillings; the Filipino-style Pianono is a type of jelly roll consisting of a soft, pillowy sponge cake wrapped around a mixture of margarine and sugar. This Philippine version is often adapted to include local flavors such as ube, mango, and mocha. This Filipino sponge cake roll is probably the most unpretentious cake you can make. Aside from the simple filling of margarine and sugar, the original Pianono recipe requires only four ingredients, and that would be the eggs, flour, sugar, and milk. We are, however, taking things up a notch with a splash of vanilla extract added to the batter and a dusting of powdered sugar as a final touch. Now, you might be wondering why I added cornstarch to the list. The answer to that is because we want our Pianono to be soft and airy like it should be. Think of Mamon, and that should give you an idea of what texture we are aiming for. Based on my own experience in baking cakes, the key to having a very light cake is to use cake flour instead of plain all-purpose flour. But since cake flour is not a pantry staple and I have cornstarch on hand more often than not, I’ve resorted to making my cake flour by substituting a part of the all-purpose with cornstarch For those who are familiar with sponge cake recipes, you would have guessed that this recipe for Pianono involves making a meringue. I know, I know, some find the process of meringue a bit daunting but rest assured that there is nothing to be afraid of, especially if you follow the tips below. How to Make Meringue: Separate the egg yolks from the whites while it is cold, it is easier. Allow the egg whites to reach room temperature before whisking to create more volume. Use eggs that are fresh if possible, they might not create as much volume as older (3-5 day-old) eggs, but they make a more stable meringue. Make sure there is not a speck of grease of fat or even a smear of yolk in the whites as this can cause your meringue to deflate. Avoid using high speed while whisking or beating the whites. It will make the work faster, but as it incorporates more air and creates larger bubbles, it tends to deflate the meringue during or after baking. **Stages of Whipping Egg Whites:** As a guideline, here are visual examples of each step. Frothy Stage-mixture is foamy and cloudy liquid with large bubbles Soft Peaks Stage-peaks begin to form when beaters are pulled from the foam but are too soft to hold shape.  Stiff Peaks Stage-mixture is glossy, thick and very stiff; peaks hold up straight without collapsing.   This classic Filipino sponge cake roll needs to be on your baking list ASAP! Soft, pillowy and with the light touch of sweetness, it makes the perfect snack or dessert. You’ll love a slice (or two) with your afternoon tea or coffee. Want more delectable jelly roll treats?

It’s a fun and delicious way to get your daily brew, plus you can enjoy it hot or cold!*   What is Dalgona coffee Dalgona coffee is a viral trend that first gained prominence in South Korea earlier this year when actor Jung Il-woo made it on TV and was further popularized on social media via the #dalgonachallenge. Likened to the taste of the Korean honeycomb toffee of the same name, it’s made by whipping instant coffee granules, sugar, and water into a creamy, caramel-colored foam that’s spooned over milk. Ingredients While most recipes use a 1:1:1 ratio, I find measurements below yield a very sturdy and stable foam. 1 1/2 tablespoons instant coffee granules- may be regular or decaf. Ground coffee beans do not work. 4 tablespoons white granulated sugar- you can use brown, coconut, or raw sugar as well as nonnutritive sweeteners such as stevia or monk fruit. 3 tablespoons water-most recipes recommend boiling hot water, but room temperature works just as well 1 cup milk-whole milk or non-dairy alternatives such as oat, almond, or soy milk. How to serve Spoon the frothy coffee mixture over a glass of hot or iced milk and stir. Serve with a straw. If you like, garnish with cocoa powder, crumbled cookies, or toffee bits. You can also drizzle with honey or chocolate syrup. The whipped coffee can be made ahead and stays creamy and scoopable. Transfer in a container with a tight-fitting lid and keep in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
