...and let's understand everything we have.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We take everything for granted.
Don't tell me you don't. I said we, not you and me alone. Anyway.
We mostly always experience traffic.
Anyone reading this, all around the world, can experience traffic.
And of course, we do get mad and irritated with the traffic.
I mean, who won't be? I am one of them since I'm still a student.
But, as I was randomly chatting with someone I met around Facebook (visit us at LLC! Don't worry, we won't always be strangers for life), it somewhat changed my perspective in my life.
She have just recently lost someone important in her life, so I had to comfort her even just through chat.
The next few days, well in reality the 3rd day, she just chatted me first.
So, as a very chatty person, I replied.
There was quite a strong storm ongoing that time in both of our places.
I just got home that time as well, and that's where it actually somewhat started.
You see, most of us live in modernized cities.
I live in a city. By the way, these are all from the Philippines, my country.
I'm from Calabarzon, she's from Mimaropa. Both are from Region IV. The names were also just acronyms for the main places of the region.
I live in a city, and I was surprised to know that she doesn't.
She lives in a province. Well, in a mountain. It's somewhat common in my country.
So, here's the thing.
It's a mountain.
And, have I said that her school is about 3 towns far from her home?
That's literally how far her home is from school.
She's most probably like literally crossing mountains and rivers just to get to school.
And what's our problem? Traffic.
She's literally not in a very modernized place and she goes to school, yet the only reason we are late is because of traffic.
Does that reason still sound like a proper reason? No. Not at all.
It's 3 towns across wildlands versus cars.
So, realizing this, it really changed my perspective on what to complain on and how to not take everything for granted.
Now, if you're really new,
Let's stop complaining for a second, and let's understand everything that we have.
