The Terracotta Army, Xian, China! It is considered one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. About 8,000 life-size statues, chariots and 100 horses have been unearthed and it seems that many more are still buried. The details are amazing and it could not fail to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. I visited this site in August 2019

@Simonewanderlust

Today I went back for a walk and finally I found Ugo, who as soon as he saw me came towards me, perhaps he hoped I had a carrot for him๐Ÿฅ•! After my attention she fell on a cut tree, the inside of which, with the concentric circles, is truly extraordinary!

@Simonewanderlust

#Splashot !! For today's color spot I thought of a unique animal: the chameleon, which changes its color adapting it to that of the surrounding environment. I love its prehensile tail and the fact that it can misalign its big eyes! I took this photo at Anja Park, Madagascar, August 2016

@Simonewanderlust

On my way from the city of Harar to the Danakil region, we made a stop at Awash park, where there are some beautiful waterfalls. But while I was taking pictures I saw a big stone move .. Ohhh .. It's not a stone, it's a big crocodile ๐ŸŠ !! I immediately went up to the path, I risked being eaten! ETHIOPIA 2018

@Simonewanderlust

Last night my friends sent me photos from every sector of the stadium. The scenography was spectacular !!! Represents the divine poet, Dante Alighieri in the flames of hell with a phrase taken from the Divine Comedy, with a phrase taken from hell, canto 26 (XXVI) ... "through hell your name spreads". The match did not go well, but I am confident that we will win the second leg and go to the national cup final

@Simonewanderlust

An exceptional place and sea, it could seem the Maldives, or Zanzibar, or the Seychelles .. Instead this wonder is found on the island of Crete, Greece! I am not a great lover of the sea, but when it is like this I am happy and I enjoy it all Greece 2008

@Simonewanderlust

The Hsin Byu Me pagoda, in Mingun, Myanmar. It is an extraordinary structure, with its 7 rolling terraces. I consider the first photo one of the most beautiful I have taken in all my travels. While I was looking at the pagoda I thought: "It would be great if now, when there is no one, a monk in his red robe passed by, it would make a beautiful contrast with the blue sky and the white pagoda." magic!

@Simonewanderlust

A tough trek! But with an exceptional final gratification: the Paine towers, Patagonia, Chile 2004. The park, huge and well kept, is a UNESCO protected biosphere reserve. The views are beautiful on each route, but the grand finale is always under these granite towers that drop sheer down to a gorgeously colored pond.

@Simonewanderlust

Today is a vegetarian #caturday ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I took this photo somewhere in Java, Indonesia, during a short layover. This cat has been looking at vegetables for a long time and never turned around! The photo, however, seems nice to me even so. Good noise everyone!

@Simonewanderlust

Happy Sunday Noiseland! Last night I had an amazing evening with my favorite friends and their children. Dinner at a Mexican restaurant frozen margaritas with melted cheese and a spicy dish of beef, chillies, tomatoes and salad! We then went home to play box games, and it was the top end of a great night!

@Simonewanderlust

Happy new week everyone! #Mondaycoins: the first 2 euro coin is from Finland 2006 and commemorates the centenary of universal suffrage. The second, very rare and expensive, is the first coin ever issued by Germany, and depicts Holstentor, the gateway to Lรผbeck. On the right you can see 2 small H, the engraver's initials, while on the left you can see the small letter J, symbol of the mint of issue, that of Hamburg.

@Simonewanderlust

2 old shots from the wonderful Istambul, where I went with friends in 2002, to visit both the cities and the Cappadocia region. Here we were in the area of โ€‹โ€‹the splendid Hagia Sophia, considered a marvel of Byzantine art.

@Simonewanderlust

Every now and then I stop too ๐Ÿ˜. Here I am happily lying under a beautiful palm tree in Ilha de Mozambique, where I was in August 2017. The following shots are at sunset ... The sun sets in the sea and radiates with all its colors and lights on the village and the fort di San Sebastiano, the last structure on the right.

@Simonewanderlust

Bryce canyon .. One of the wonders of nature! The erosion due to atmospheric agents has created these spectacular pinnacles called hoodoos, and especially as soon as the sun rises they light up with white, pink and orange. I visited the park in the state of Utah in August 2013

@Simonewanderlust

Here we are at the appointment with the #Splashot! On my last walk, I found an evergreen bush with small clusters of red berries. It was very photogenic, especially for macros. My color sketch for today is about these little berries

@Simonewanderlust

Tonight I take you to explore a cave, Che Chem Ha, located in San Ignacio, Belize, where I was in 2006.The story is incredible: the owner of the land, many years ago, heard his dog bark and saw him running after. a wild animal. Then suddenly they both disappeared into a bush .. Then he decided to remove all the branches and leaves, and discovered the cave, which is inside that small opening. Inside he found many artifacts of the ancient Mayans, some are still there and Iโ€ฆ

@Simonewanderlust

Good morning noise Fam! Just back from a short walk, just an hour to breathe some fresh air. Temperatures, at least during the day, are finally going higher, spring is really upon us and these photos prove it: flowers in abundance in a rosemary plant and bees that flutter and work with pollination

@Simonewanderlust

๐Ÿ“ธ Street photo! Shots from the magnificent, ramshackle and colorful city of Harar in southeastern Ethiopia. The ideas for this kind of photos are almost infinite, in every street of the city, completely fortified, the activities of the people are continuous, even if with a lot of relaxation. I loved getting lost in the alleys and taking lots of photos!

@Simonewanderlust

Madakaripura waterfalls, Java island, Indonesia. It is a spectacular series of waterfalls located in a high and narrow canyon full of vegetation. That little orange dot in the first photo is me, to make you understand how huge the canyon is. I got wet and had a lot of fun doing this hike. Indonesia 2018

@Simonewanderlust

Good weekend dear friends. I show you other photos of the famous thermal baths of the Mulino, in Tuscany, where I was last January 1st! Although it was cold, both in the water and in the surrounding area, it was quite warm, as can be seen from the steam! The spas are free and full of beneficial properties, as well as being spectacular to the eye!

@Simonewanderlust

Happy #caturday This is Frida last Saturday! I had the pleasure of going to my friends, so, in addition to photographing her many times, we played with the children a lot, until she, exhausted, curled up on a chair near the heating and collapsed!

@Simonewanderlust

Since I want sun, warmth and blue skies, I pulled out of my gallery the photos of the beginning of last summer, when I went to look for the fields of ripe wheat in the area called Val d 'Orcia, in Tuscany, Italy. The scenery was perfect and I think I'll be back in a month, instead of all yellow, it will all be green!

@Simonewanderlust

Good Sunday friends! Images from Kranj, a small town in Slovenia close to the capital. The medieval center is well preserved and colorful, it is also pedestrianized, so it is very relaxing to spend time there. The photos are related to my passage to Slovenia in 2007

@Simonewanderlust

Organ pipe, Namibia. Along the road that took me from Palmwag to the Skeleton coast, we came across this spectacular rock formation, perfectly square by erosion. In the second image I am with 2 of the best travelers ever in my almost 10 years of adventures, Giorgia and Elena, who I still see now! โค๏ธ! The Last Image is a strange plant growing in the surrounding desert called Euphorbia damarana. Namibia 2015

@Simonewanderlust

#Mondaycoins. Today I am showing you special and rare coins. They represent the 50th of the treaties of Rome, in which the European economic community was established in 1957. These coins were jointly issued by all states in 2007, they are all the same, only the national mint changes. The first is issued by Italy, the second by the Netherlands. The other images are of a very rare package issued by the German post office, in a laminated booklet and also containing 4 stamps onโ€ฆ

@Simonewanderlust

A great nugget of gold! The largest!! They call it "Hand of Faith" and it's on display at the Golden Nugget Casino in Crazy Las Vegas !! It weighs 27 kg and is 46 centimeters thick. I was fascinated to observe it for several minutes, it has an incredible attraction! USA 2013

@Simonewanderlust

Bratislava! It is the capital of the republic of Slovakia, a small colorful and clean city, the historic center offers excellent views and can be easily explored on foot! The photos date back to 2007, where I went with 2 other friends in the car. From my home it takes about 12-13 hours to get there but it was fun! Good day everyone, I hope there is a lot of noise today!

@Simonewanderlust

3 images from the town of Lugano, Switzerland. I visited the chocolate museum, then a walk in Piazza della Riforma, the city center and finally a long walk on the edge of the large and fascinating alpine lake. Although the prices are very high, many tourists come here every year. I've been there in 2010 ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ

@Simonewanderlust

New Wednesday .. #Splashot! Today a rather particular splash, in this period in which the winds of war blow strongly .. I was to pay homage to the tomb of a great poet, painter and songwriter, Violeta Parra! Her music was centered on spreading popular traditions and her motifs always centered on peace and love. Her song "Thanks to life" reads in one verse: "when I look at good far from evil" .. We hope that the madness that is taking place in Ukraine will stop already today.โ€ฆ

@Simonewanderlust

Good evening noise Fam! Do you like murals and street artists? I am fascinated by it, I am convinced that someone can make unique and beautiful works of art. One Saturday in 2016 in Bologna, Italy, there were about twenty artists who had the opportunity to paint along a large viaduct. I took these 2 photos there!

@Simonewanderlust

Good morning noise! Somewhere in Nepal we found this amazing Tibetan bridge. It is very exciting to go through it and I couldn't help but take a lot of shots! In the last photo I am with my whole group of adventurers, the absolute best I have had to date! NEPAL 2017๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ต

@Simonewanderlust

The sky for the past 2 days has been quite gray so I didn't really want to go for my usual walk. In the last issue I took a lot of photos including these 2. I really like the first one, the blur in the background came out well, of the second I like the details!

@Simonewanderlust

The beauty of my travels is that they never end .. Once back, all the emotions are absorbed and metabolized. Then comes a phase in which there is a great desire to see your fellow adventurers again. The tour operator with whom I travel organizes 2 national gatherings every year, both close to my home .. So I can never miss, and so I see many friends for 2 days, with whom we talk, joke, have dinner and in the style of travel, we share the houses for the night! Appointment inโ€ฆ

@Simonewanderlust

Have you ever entered a country and did not know its existence until that moment? That's what happened to me when I saw this huge sign, so I immediately stopped! Then I got information. Within Bosnia and Herzegovina there is a Serb majority entity that still claims independence today. I made this trip by car, I thought I was going to cross 4 countries, instead they became 5!! :)

@Simonewanderlust

Happy #caturday to all noisers! Frida was relaxing after my and my grandchildren's assault, for about half an hour we made her run and play non-stop! She is a cat as beautiful as she is good and she is truly growing up in a happy environment!

@Simonewanderlust

Antelope Canyon, Arizona, USA. In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful parks in the American West, located in the land of the Navajo Indians. The canyon is only 270 meters long, the entrance is a narrow crack in the sandstone, inside which there are extraordinary formations with daily natural light effects. Crossing and photographing the inside of the canyon is an unforgettable experience.

@Simonewanderlust

Today I received some good news: a small band with a nice name, John Frog ๐Ÿธ, will start doing their country music concerts again! I can't wait to go back to see them, also because we dress themed up and have a lot of fun! This was the last concert, in a private villa, I saw, in July 2019

@Simonewanderlust

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 1999. One of Rio's must-sees is the ascent to Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Hill. In addition to the statue, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, there is certainly the breathtaking view across the bay and the city, especially the districts of Botafogo, Copacabana and Ipanema.

@Simonewanderlust

Today a very short walk, just an hour, I didn't like the cold wind on my face. But I still managed to find some macro ideas to make some noise! Good evening everyone, friends!

@Simonewanderlust

Murano. A small island in the Venice lagoon. The island is famous for its glass workshops, where artisans still create many objects, some of them truly amazing. I visited the island and a workshop, buying a small, newly created colored glass horse in July 2017. The sculpture in the second image is located in the central square of the island.

@Simonewanderlust

Den Haag, also called The Hague, is the seat of the Dutch parliament. It is located on the North Sea coast, and is best known for the United Nations International Tribunal of Justice. I went there to see a particular museum, that of Escher, which engraved, drew and built impossible things. Soon I will show you the photos taken in the museum, for today 2 images of the city center!

@Simonewanderlust

For the first spring #Splashot I'll take you to one of the most beautiful bridges in the world: Ponte Vecchio in Florence. It is estimated that it was built a century BC, shortly after the founding of the city, then modified and improved over the next 10 centuries. Today it has remained roughly as it was in the Middle Ages, with its protruding houses and jewelers on either side.

@Simonewanderlust

Right now I am very amused ๐Ÿ˜ƒ .. I just got back from the supermarket, where I bought some strawberries ๐Ÿ“ .. There was a huge one in the box, I had never seen it so big! I'll be sorry to eat it too, it's a spectacle of nature, isn't it? Good evening to all my noise friends

@Simonewanderlust

Today March 24th is the birthday of one of the most special people for me: my friend Alessandra turns 40! We did a lot of things together, from dinners to holidays, organized parties and attended events. I am very attached to her, tonight we will have a toast together, then on Sunday we will celebrate with a nice lunch! Happy Birthday Ale!

@Simonewanderlust

Near my house, almost on the bank of the river, there are 2 different species of plum trees, which are in full bloom at the moment. I enjoyed making macros, the result satisfied me even if I still have to improve. Good evening everybody!

@Simonewanderlust

I've always liked the views from above a lot, you have a very broad perspective. These photos were taken in Bavaria, Southern Germany, where there are many blue lakes and green meadows, and magnificent views from the top of the mountains. Germany 2010

@Simonewanderlust

Near Mandalay, Myanmar is a Buddhist monastic college called Mahagandayon. Over 2,000 students, every day the monks, from the youngest to the oldest, put themselves in orderly and silent queues waiting to receive their lunch. It is a magical and mystical scene! Myanmar 2014

@Simonewanderlust

Happy #caturday noisefam! Yesterday I went to a clinic for exams, and while I was waiting outside my turn, this shy kitten approached me and after a while I was able to pet and photograph him. I told him: tomorrow they will see you all over the world, aren't you happy?

@Simonewanderlust

Good Sunday noisers. Today I am taking you inside and outside a wonderful stadium, the Amsterdam Arena. In addition to being a fan (a lot) I like modern stadium structures, today amazing ones are built almost everywhere except in Italy ๐Ÿ˜ . I went to see the Europa League match in February 2009

@Simonewanderlust

For this new #Mondaycoins here we are in 2008. The first Finland 08 coin is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the universal declaration of human rights. I consider it among the most beautiful ever. The second, Italia 08, represents a man and a woman with an olive branch, an ear of corn, a wheel that indicates work and barbed wire that indicates peace. This too commemorates the rights of man

@Simonewanderlust

My lunch yesterday to celebrate my friend's birthday. We went to a very nice place where you eat amazing and well presented fish dishes. I had a tuna tartare and after pasta with a delicious cream and mussels. To finish, a lemon and coffee sorbet. It was a happy day!

@Simonewanderlust

Good morning Fam! Today is my birthday and I wanted to celebrate it with you too! Unfortunately my shift will not allow me to celebrate, but I will make up for it on the weekend! I wish you all a sparkling day!

@Simonewanderlust

And here's the mid-week #Splashot! The unmissable event concerns an image I took in Belize, in the San Ignacio area. Unfortunately friends I can no longer reward you, my tips are running out, but I will try to show me from time to time! Good day everyone

@Simonewanderlust

Street photo๐Ÿ“ธ I took this photo in Bhaktapur, the last stop on my wonderful trip to Nepal. The city was under reconstruction after a terrible earthquake but it is beautiful and full of ideas for this kind of photo
