The Hsin Byu Me pagoda, in Mingun, Myanmar. It is an extraordinary structure, with its 7 rolling terraces. I consider the first photo one of the most beautiful I have taken in all my travels. While I was looking at the pagoda I thought: "It would be great if now, when there is no one, a monk in his red robe passed by, it would make a beautiful contrast with the blue sky and the white pagoda." magic!

What does Pagoda means to the monks Simone?
Pagodas are the temples where monks pray and in some cases live there. This is one of the most beautiful I've seen
Beautiful temple, so different and elegant and your first photo is like a travel magazine photo. Great!
Thank you for your appreciation. I am really proud of the first photo
Did you added the monk in red? I truly sdmire this type of structures with do much detail and are made with lots of hardwork because they do not have the machines we are using now for building
Perfect post. The construction of these buildings has resisted for centuries and I imagine the difficulty in realizing them since the means available were not like the current mechanical ones.
Looks so pretty.. just like some structure built using snow.. gorgeous
