The golden sword

A long time ago, from the times' existence was more simple, the reign of Dethus lived in abundance, the master Alchemist and the eternal Blacksmith decided to create a unique and wonderful gift for King Arazu: The golden sword. It was perfectly crafted with the best materials ever, and the finest gold of the region. The best gift ever, for the most powerful King of our era.

But before talking about the golden sword, we should know the king first.

Arazu was arrogant, annoying and so selfish, but his military talent brought Dethus to be the most powerful Reign of the continent. Arazu was the son of King Ezea, and Queen Myo, the best regents who ever existed. Unfortunately, Ezea was very naive, and never expected a rebellion and a betrayal against him. When Arazu was 16 (Prince Arazu then), could see what was happening, but nobody was going to listen to an inexperienced prince. That night Ezea and Myo were killed by the insurgents.

The prince Arazu gathered an army of brave knights, and with his cunning and courage, could defeat the menace. The traitors were caught and then, tortured. After they said the truth, were killed. Arazu took control, and that night he became the king of Dethus. 10 years after, Arazu built an incredible and powerful reign, but the more power he got, the more ruthless and distrust he became.

Cool people with cool content

During that time, Arazu invaded little places which were part of Deifus, the reign next to Dethus. The power of Arazu was enough to take the control of a lot of territories, and in five years, The reign of Deifus completely disappeared , and now, was part of Dethus. But what happened? Why the reign which lived in peace with Dethus have to succumb to the lethality of Dethus? Easy, the betrayal of Ezea came from that reign by Julius I, the former regent of Deifus.

When Arazu took the control of Dethus, he discovered where the traitors were from, and said all the plans Julius had to defeat Dethus, Arazu took the first step. Hatred for the regent who ordered the murder of his parents grew so much that he despised all the people of Deifus equally; an innocent people who did not know what was going on. Arazu killed thousands, took the control of Deifus, and became slaves to everybody who lived in Deifus. While all the resources Deifus had were direct to Dethus, Arazu transformed that little town into a big cage of slaves. They sinned for living in the reign Julius lived.

Dethus was beautiful and powerful, Deifus on the other hand, look like a town abandoned by the gods. Soldiers from Dethus were sent to Deifus with only one mission: torture those who tried to be hostile. The poor life quality was evident, but Arazu didn't care, his actual reign was living the best moment of its history.

One day, a mysterious lady appeared before a group of soldiers, with a big bag on her back. Shey said: "Here you have, a gift for our king, he deserves all our love" and dropped the bag. Once on the ground, the soldiers checked the content of that bag and got surprised when they saw a big piece of gold. The best their eyes ever saw. Its magnificence hypnotized the soldiers that much, that they never realized that strange lady had gone.

The lady was Krotoa, an evil witch who lived in the woods of Deifus. Many thought she was a myth, but she was so real. Some called them Witch, but she was the protector of the big forest, the same forest Arazu order to destroy, where so many animals died, animals she was supposed to protect with her magic; but the killer instinct of Arazu, was more powerful and the forest, was burned.

The next day, a group of soldiers arrived at Dethus with a wonderful gift for the king: The big piece of gold. When Arazu saw that piece got obsessed with it. His ideas were flying, but after one hour of observing the gold, Arazu had an idea: A sword was to be forged from that gold. The golden sword. Arazu immediately ordered to call the best guys for that important task: The master Alchemist and the eternal Blacksmith.

The master Alchemist was in charge to verify the pureness of the piece of gold, once he checked it, he was shocked because it was the best piece of gold he had ever seen. The eternal Blacksmith had a big work to do, and after 2 months of forging, he finally made it: The golden sword, the most powerful sword ever created. A weapon that was capable to kill an entire army if the right person wielding it. Of course, that person was King Arazu, the bravest man on earth. Arazu felt completed, with that sword, he was unstoppable, but things are not always as we wish...

Krotoa observed how Arazu wielded the sword that was going to kill everything he loved. The witch enchanted the sword, the one who wields that sword has terrible things in store for his future, and those he cares about...
