La Remontada

La Remontada;  the order of life to those wiling to rule, the order of life to those determined, the order of life to the yet determined people. All things done in life would be in a bid to get the clearer picture of our dreams, we fail at times if not all times and should we lose light of our goal ?

La Remontada is a Spanish Word that has come to
limelight,Life and into our lives meaning - 
             " The Comeback "

I am reminded of one of the greatest inventor of time, Thomas Edinson with over one thousand patents in his name and amongst his invention was the notable Light Bulb. Thomas tried two thousand materials in a bid to find a perfect filament material for the Light Bulb ( of which Tungsten later turned out to be the winner ) and also, he did a total of one thousand attempts before he finally succeeded in making the Light bulb. They were words of enlightenment Edinson said that made me realise Life is not over for those who hasn't given up and that Life has more in store for the visionaries and optimists.

The First ;

When his assistant told him that they have learnt nothing from their trial and error methods for the search of a suitable filament, he replied his assistant saying "No, we have learnt that there is at least two thousand materials that wouldn't fit to be a filament for the Light bulb "

The Second ;

When he was told that he failed one thousand times before making the light bulb, he said "No, that the Light Bulb had one thousand steps".

In all these words, we see that a comeback in life is possible to those who believe and can actually yearn to reach for it.

My Spanish friends and the Football Lovers wouldn't be new to this word also. La Remontada in Football is coined to the Barcelona comeback against PSG in a UCL R16 match day in 2017 when Barcelona overcomed a 4-0 deficit from PSG in the first leg to later win 6-1 in the second leg at Camp Nou, on aggregate Barcelona won 6-5. The match was a spectacular one and one worth remembering as it was a match that has all the elements of tears, determination, fight, will and passion. It showed that when there is life, there is hope. Where there is a will to fight, there is a cause.

Not giving up in whatever we do and striving to come out with the best results and overturn all deficits and setbacks into success is part of the abilities that truly makes us Humans invaluable and unique. Where there is life, there is Hope and that Hope is the light at the end of our dark tunnel and a silver lining of our dark clouds.

Never give up and coming out strong, no matter the situation.
