1. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
This will be a story of a dentist Hye-Jin(Shin Min-Ah) who winds up in a village called Gongjin where a man named Du-Sik(Kim Seon-Ho) lives. Du-Sik is a caring man and is always helping the villagers. Things get exciting as these two meet, so ready your jaws because this certainly will make you laugh.
If you are a kdrama fan, you can easily tell that this will be good one because these casts were in the memorable kdramas that we have watched - Youth of May, My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailer Fox, and Start-up.
They really look cute together. It haven't even started yet but my heart is already getting soft. This Dimple Couple will surely make a mark in kdrama history.
This will be released on August 28,2021.
2. Snowdrop
I personally like to watch those that are set in the past, like in the 80s or 90s and this will will be one of them. Snowdrop is set on the year 1987 where democracy was consolidated in South Korea.
Every Blackpink fan is waiting for this because is the first time Jisoo is taking the leading role in a kdrama. Many of fans were unhappy when the release date was moved. Are you excited to see her? Well, I am.
This will be released on December 3, 2021.
3. Yumi's Cells
Yu-Mi gets help from the cells living inside her head to continue her everyday life as she is not that good with people. She finds it hard to show or tell what is on her mind. These cells are in charge of her emotions(anger, happiness, sad, embarrassment, etc.). This will be cute after she gets a boyfriend and thinking about how the cells will make decisions already excite me.
We(shy people) can definitely relate to what she is experiencing. We find it hard to talk to stranger or attract attention in public, it just calls for panic.
Aside from this exciting upcoming kdrama, the one who will be playing as Yu-Mi will be Kim Go Eun! Finally she has a new one.
This is set to release on September 2021.

4. All Of Us Are Dead
Since the pandemic, zombie apocalypse movies and series have been more popular. Koreans have proved that they make good kdramas with zombies with the popular movie Train to Busan and the series Kingdom. Now they are releasing another one titled All Of Us Are Dead.
Story - A zombie apocalypse occurs while a group of students are in their school. They are going to find a way to survive and manage to get out of this situation.
The exact release date is still unknown but it is set on this year, 2021.
This is only a list of the kdramas that I am waiting for this year. There are others but release dates are unclear and it keeps getting moved.
