Hazrat Ibn Abbas (R) said, Prophet Kareem (sm) said, ‘May Allah have mercy on the mother of Ishmael! If he had left the yam yam in such a way without building a dam or filling a cell with water, it would not have become a well but a flowing spring. The narrator said, "Then he drank and gave milk to his son."
The angel said to him (Hajira), ‘Do not be afraid of destruction. Because here is the house of God. This child and his father will build a house here together and Allah will not destroy his relatives. At that time the place of the house of God was as high as a tiller from the ground. As a result of the flood, his right and left were broken. After that Hazera used to spend her days here like this.
Then at one time a group of people from the tribe of ‘Jurhum’ was passing by them or the narrator said that some people from the family of ‘Jurhum’ were coming here by way of a high ground called ‘Kada’. They landed in the lowlands of Mecca and saw a flock of birds flying in circles. They said, "Surely these birds are flying over the water." We have crossed this Maidan many times. But there was no water here. Then they sent one or two men there. They went there and saw the water. They came back from there and told everyone about the water. Upon hearing the news, everyone moved on. The narrator said that Ishmael's mother was near the water. They said to him, "We want to live near you." Will you allow us? He replied, Yes. However, you will not have any right over this water. They said yes.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (R) said that this incident gave the mother of Hazrat Ishmael (AS) the opportunity to be in the company of people. Then they settled there and sent word to their families. Then they also came and started living with them. Eventually a few of their families settled there. And Ishmael (peace be upon him) also reached youth and learned Arabic from them. Entering his youth, he became more attractive and beloved to them. Then when he reached his full youth, they married Ishmael (AS) to one of their daughters. Meanwhile, Hazra died. After the marriage of Ishmael, Ibrahim (AS) came here to see the condition of his abandoned family. But he did not find IshmaelHe asked Ishmael's wife about his position. The daughter-in-law said, ‘He has gone out in search of our livelihood. Then he asked them about their livelihood and their condition. Ishmael's wife then complained of the misery and said, "We are in a very distant state, very tense and very difficult." Upon hearing this, Ibrahim (AS) said, "Your husband will ask me to change the door frame of his house with my salutation."
Then when Prophet Ishmael (peace be upon him) came home, he seemed to be able to guess something. He said, "Did anyone come to you?" The wife said, "Yes." One such old man came to us and asked me about you. I give him your news. He asks how our lives are going. Then I tell him, we are in a lot of trouble and lack. Ishmael said, "Has he bequeathed anything to you?" He said yes. He instructed you to greet him and said, "Change the door frame." Ishmael (AS) said, ‘He is my father. He has instructed me to separate you. You go to your relatives. ' He then divorced her and married another girl.
Then Ibrahim stayed away from them as long as Allah willed. Then he returned to see them. This time too he did not see his son. The daughter-in-law asked about her son. He replied that he had gone out in search of our livelihood. Then Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "How are you?" Then he asked them about their lives and their condition. He said, "We are well off, and he praised God." Abraham asked, ‘What is your main food? He said, meat. He said again, ‘What is your drink?’ He said, ‘Water.’ Ibrahim (AS) prayed, ‘O Allah! Bless them with meat and water. The Prophet (sm) said, there was no grain for them then. If he had, he would have prayed for blessings. The narrator said that no one can survive on water and meat alone except in Mecca. Because meat and water alone cannot be conducive to living.
Ibrahim (AS) said, "When your husband returns home, he will greet me and tell me to keep the door of his house straight." Then Ishmael came to the house and said, "Has anyone come to you?" The wife said, "Yes." A handsome old man came and complimented him, he asked me about you. I told him your news. Then he asked me about our way of life. I told him we were fine. Ishmael said, "Has he bequeathed anything to you?" He said yes. He greets you and instructs you to keep your house tidy. Ishmael said, "This is my father, and you are the door of my house." He instructed me to keep you as my wife.
By the will of Allah, Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) came after a long time and saw his son sitting under a big tree near the well of Zamzam repairing an arrow. Seeing his father, he stood up and walked towards him. Then they both did as the father did to the son or as the son did to the father. Then Ibrahim (Abraham) said, ‘O Ishmael! God has instructed me on one thing. Ishmael said, "Follow what your Lord has commanded you." He said, will you help me? Ishmael said, "I will help you." Abraham said, "Allah has commanded me to build a house here." With that he pointed to the high hill, encircling it. Then the father and son began to lift the walls of the Ka'bah. Ishmael used to bring stones, and Abraham used to build. Finally, when the wall was raised, Ishmael (peace be upon him) brought the stone and put it in its proper place. Abraham stood on it and began to build. And Ishmael continued to supply him with stones. They both prayed to Allah, ‘O our Lord! Please accept our work. Surely Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing '(Baqarah 128). They both continued to build the Ka'bah and turned around the Ka'bah and prayed, 'O our Lord! You confess on our behalf. Surely you hear and know everything.
