Smoking causes Cancer , heart disease stroke, lung diseases , diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which includes emphysema and chronic bronchits. Smoking also increases risk for tuberculosis, certain eye diseases and problems of the immune system including Rheumatoid arthritis.
