Crypto can be expensive and risky. Whilst I trade crypto, I also 'collect' small, but free amounts of crypto from various sites and apps. I've briefly listed them below and yes, some have my personal links, but at the end of the day, you're getting free crypto for doing very little in return. I've tried and tested all of the following apps and can confirm that they have no impact on battery or performance...
Stormgain is a crypto platform, but they also have a free bitcoin miner built into the app. Download the app, navigate to the cryptominer tab and just hit start. Every 4 hours you will mine a small amount of crypto, that is paid out in USDT. When you've mined $10 worth, you can transfer it directly to their trading platform. You cannot withdraw it, BUT any profit you make from trades is yours to keep.
Pi network is a relatively new crypto, that can be mined through an app for free. As of yet it has no monetary value attached to it, but that will eventually change. I've thoroughly read through their white paper and I think it has huge potential. There are currently around 7 million users of the platform, but when they reach 10 million, free mining will stop. The more people you add to your pool, the higher your earning rate will be. A word of advice though; you can add as many people to your mining team as you like, but do not add anyone to your security earners that you don't personally know. If you do and they break the mining rules, it can void your earnings.

Brave browser: Blocks pop ups and ads. You can choose to recieve up to 5 ads an hour, for which you earn BAT. Once you reach 25 BAT, you can transfer your BAT (currently only through Braves upholder wallet). After the initial verification and transfer, brave will automatically transfer any earned BAT to the upholder wallet on a monthly basis. Brave has now replaced chrome as my primary browser.
