Champorado Or Chocolate Rice Porridge

Champorado is another variation of different Filipino Porridge Recipe, it is mainly made from rice cook in hot boiling chocolate.

Ingredients

Rice (maybe long grain, or short grain, glutinous or sticky rice, according to your desire)

Water

Chocolates (either cocoa powder, choco powder or melted chocolate bars)

Sugar

Evaporated Milk

How to prepare

It is so easy, first wash rice the put an exact amount of water to the cooking pot, put on fire and let until it boils for 30 minutes, and stir occasionally until it become sticky, add chocolates,mix well and let boil about 5 minutes, stir occasionally, the add sugar, in this you have to be very cautious in adding sugars to your dishes, it might become too sweet or too flat, put the exact or the desire amount according to your taste buds) mix well and stir occasionally until cooked.

Serve and blend with milk

Also best with fried dried fishes
