A memorandum of understanding and a protocol were signed between Bangladesh and India in 2011 for the conservation of tigers in the Sundarbans, stopping the smuggling of tigers and predators, enhancing skills, monitoring, etc. โ
The second generation โBangladesh Tiger Action Plan 2018-2027โ has been formulated for conservation.
The Tiger Response Team has been formed in the villages around the Sundarbans with the help of the forest department and the local people to exchange information and take precautionary measures as soon as the tigers come to the locality.
The minister also said that regular 'smart patrolling' activities are underway in four ranges of the Sundarbans to conserve forests and tigers.
To save and raise the tiger, it has taken all necessary measures to free its habitat, food and free it from the clutches of outside predators..
We save the tiger, the protector of the Sundarbans, through a concerted effort for the sake of our own existence.
I support such initiatives. What do you do?
