Polao / Khichuri:

White polao can also be made in a pressure cooker. In this case, you have to take as much water as the amount of rice. And if you want to make khichuri with polao rice, then you have to give a little less water than the equivalent of rice and pulses. If you mix khichuri with rice, you have to add equal amount of water to the dal and double amount of water to the rice. The same rule applies to vegetables, but only a small amount of water should be added to the vegetables.
