The quote has deep significance and it grabbed my attention when I was looking for financial quotes that can help us learning some lessons from it. The quote "Money is a terrible master but an excellent servant" was written by American author Phineas Taylor Barnum. Beside being an author he is has many qualities and talent, such a wise man and his quote said it all. Whatever my discussion topic today will be this quote which means a lot and sums up that how money works for us.

Money is not only an object that we earn to lead a better life. It helps us learning the sweet and bitter parts of life. Just try to observe the people around you when you have money and when you don’t have. When you have money you have many friends and many enemies too who pretend to be your friend but they are actually not. You can find many enemies openly attack you in different way because you’ve more money but they don't have and they as your enemy will try to harm you. Your bitter experience will start when you’ll run out of money.

Sometimes having more money makes us arrogant and as a master we treat our servants in a bad way. We think ourselves the king of this world and try to earn more and may be that's why the wise author said that money is a terrible master. Actually money is also a great source of power. Just imagine, when you can afford to buy the most expensive thing in this world, how does it feels like? It makes people arrogant and proud of oneself and it has bad impact to others but more money make people blind and they treat people around them like servant.

On the other hand money can buy excellency, as the more money we spend, the more effective service we can take or expect. And may be that's why the wise author claimed that money is an excellent servant and I totally agree with it. If you have money and you are not educated but you can rule over educated person who doesn’t have enough money and work under you to make money.

The are many politicians of underdeveloped countries found having more asset as their forefathers left properties and assets for them, as a result they didn’t pay interest to study and got entry to politics and having employees whose are well educated and knowledgeable. So here we can see the power of money. Money can buy almost everything even an educated person sell their brain to the uneducated rich people and we can feel the power of money in such cases. It indeed an excellent servant as service holders give their full efforts to their service to make more money and promotion.

Money can hide ugly and bitter truth. Money can buy beautiful things we like for us. It may sounds odd but truth that we can see,an old ugly rich man can have a young beautiful women to marry because he has money and his ugliness and old look hidden by the money. Women having beautiful look whose expect a luxurious life mostly found having rich guy as life partner and they doesn’t care about look, personality and character. Some ladies get married divorcee old men with kids just because the man has money, social status and reputation as rich. Anyway, that's the another part of life where money is powerful too. Money can buy the best service and mostly makes people arrogant and this is the majority.
