The news grabbed my attention. Poor tea garden workers were protest for past few weeks and later they compromise with the lowest payment they had and they are unable to bear their family expenses with that little amount of money or previous rate. They become ready to compromise because government says them to increase the rate asap but not as much as they desired.

Daily each tea garden worker get 120 BDT (Bangladeshi Taka) salary from the owners but that salary can't cover the expenses of those workers so they call for a meeting where they demand 300 BDT per day for work but it can't make possible instantly and government decide to increase a little bit but not yet issued the new rate. Workers can't spoil a single day for protesting as they need money so they decide to compromise and start working today with the previous rate as they need money. After reading the news I felt really pity to them.

Most of the worker there belong to poor families and we all know that price of each and every products has been increased as a result poor people are suffering from the high price of food and other necessary products. Before they at least could afford to bear their expenses but now this become almost impossible. This is also a effect of inflation. Our economic system is like a chain system and when a particular sector affected, all sector bear the suffering and this was just an example of that.

As government give them hope to increase their salary or daily payment rate for working continuous so their leader sent them back to the work by doing compromise. I call this compromise because they are not getting enough as much they deserve for their daily hard work. Government movements are not instant and quick so it can be a lengthy process and this compromise will go on because this poor people are not educated enough and needy and their need is their weakness that can be a kind of advantage for owners whose paying a little amount to the workers and earning profit from the sell.

Tea is all time best selling product and it has good demand in market. To hold the tea business having workers is a must and if owners pay good amount of money then workers can work with their satisfaction. No workers want a small payment for all day long hard work and its not alter about tea garden worker. It shouldn't be my personal concern even government should take effective and quick step to solve this matter.

Financial condition in every sector is getting worse after the war between Russia and Ukraine and the affect of the war may take several years to fix or recover. We all fight for our right but sometimes helpless situations force us to compromise as those tea garden workers doing right now. Hope they will get their right soon and also hope the financial condition may become stable asap.
