Once a red hen laid five eggs and she wants to have chickens from these five eggs. But the owner wanted to collect them for eating.
When the red hen saw her five eggs gone she got upset and very sad. She stopped laying eggs. The owner of the red hen decide next time he won't eat eggs and he promised his red hen.
The red hen was very happy and excited and she laid ten eggs this time to have her own 10 kids naturally. She sits on her egg everyday and only stand up when she takes her food.
One day the owner of the red hen come and trying to collect egg. The red hen remind him his promise. The owner replied that he didn’t forget his promise but he needs these ten egg right now and its urgent. The red hen was about to cry but the owner was in hurry so he didn’t talked much.
The red hen got upset again and she lost faith on human. She was trying to escape from the cage and wanted to leave this owner forever. Almost twelve hours gone and the red hen didn’t eat anything because she was upset as she wanted to be a mother and her eggs need life.
The owner came back to the red hen and insist her to eat foods but the hen was very angry and upset. The owner bring colorful ten eggs and kept it on her nest. The red hen was surprised that her eggs were so colorful and looks so cute. The owner said "I didn’t forget my promise, it was easter and I had no extra eggs on this celebration time. Now these all eggs are yours, be happy"
The red hen become happy and she now can trust human again. She become the mother of ten cute chickens.
