Cake Making.
Have you guys made a cake? 🎂 🍰 I was busy this afternoon watching YouTube videos on how to make cakes. I saw many flavors like ube, mango, vanilla, and others. How nice if I could make all of these flavors. I've also watched the recipes they use for 'kutchinta'. I'll have to buy the ingredients so I could start practicing. I should know how to bake it. I don't have oven yet but I do have my steamer. So it will be a steamed cake.
Oh, by the way, cryptos are rising again? Will this be a sign that it will recover? Or, just an excitement? 😅

What reaction do you always have to unexpected circumstances? Does your heart palpitate? Too much that won't make you breathe well? Or a composed self?
There's another death here in our hometown. He's an old man. Few nights ago, it was announced that he needed blood... So some folks went to the hospital where he was to donate their blood. I don't know if they were able to donate... The next day, he died. According to rumours, he was revived at first, but then later, he died. His death might be to old age as well. May he rest in peace.

Fresh from the Hotspring.
The weather might feel hot for some, but, I still took a bath from the Hotspring. I bathed for more than an hour. Scrubbed myself too. And now, I feel so good. Whew.
Hmmm. Anyone who wants to eat fishball, kikiam, chickenball and gulaman? Just come at my store and order your choice... 😊 I just opened. Who'll be the first one to buy today? Anyone? 😅

It's almost five in the afternoon here, and someone asked me if I have a nail cutter. His sudden question made me answer, ''I don't have it". 🤣 Then he went away. After that, my brain told me that we do have nail cutters. But then, he went away. 😅😅😅 Sorry. He should have slowed down from talking. Mempz. If he comes back, then I will lend it to him. Hihi.

City food cravings.
If foods cannot be spoiled, unless preserved, I might have had ordered shawarma/shawarma rice or turks, McDonald's, Mang Inasal, zagu drinks, and others. They're fast foods and at the same time, unhealthy foods. Hehe. But I still love eating them. 😅 I miss these foods. Can someone cook them for me? As much as I'd want to personally make them at home, the taste is still different. Mempz. Secret recipes....

About few days ago, I posted in my readcash article about the kids who has debt in my fishball store. There were four kids that evening. The only girl paid hers, one of the three boys was not allowed to have debts, and the other two had...
They promised to pay the next day. But nobody of those two came. Hmmmm. And yesterday, I saw one of them. I told the kid, "oh, you forgot to pay, right?" Then he gave me five pesos and said, "Can I pay with my five pesos first?" I agreed. He has ten pesos left. 😅 I'll see if the other boy will show up later. Lols. Funny and naughty kids.

This afternoon, our dear Mayor is now buried. May his soul rest in peace. Fly high. Soar high. 🕊️. You will always be remembered. Goodbye... ❣️
When I was in elementary, I used to go with his campaigns. We went to some baranggays in our Municipality. That was fun to remember.
His memories will not be forgotten to people who were with him, just like me. His big smiles too...
Last day of his wake.
After I close the store, I'll have to fetch water. And then, we will attend his last night's final wake in their house. Tomorrow will be his burial.
Whew. We'll have to let go of the hard feelings we have with the people who die... I can now accept that he's gone. May he always be remembered... What he did to our Municipality was a great contribution, as well as outside our place. May the next leaders know what to do as well. Whew.
I feel like, there's no joy on this coming election. Hay... Deep sigh.

Naughty and playful kids near me...
Not only one kid, nor two nor three... But they're many this time. All of them were elementary boys. 😅 It's getting darker but they're still here playing. I don't know what they call their toy, but it's something that can fly. So when their toys fly, they go to my parents' plants... That worries me if they destroy it. So I keep on telling them not to throw or fly their toys to the plants. Oh, I have a story to tell. Haha.
I did not sell fishball for three days before. And I heard some kids calling me so they could buy fishball, but I couldn't walk that time. No one went out. Because of that, maybe, kids got frustrated. What they did? They harvested my parents' plants... That plant was similar to sweet peas. In our native language, we say, "kurdis". Hmmm. They were the first ones to harvest it. 😅 That's also because, no one was watching them.
Edit: "Kurdis" in English is cow peas.
And this afternoon, I had to remind them. I even let them pick the plastic cups scattered on the road and in our backyard which they did. 😅😁

P.S. Our Mayor's burial was extended again this coming Saturday. Supposedly, it was today but it was postponed tomorrow, but now, Saturday will be the final date. Visitors pleaded for it to be extended. Plus, our Mayor's two kids from abroad just arrived this morning...

Blank Stares...
My eyes are fixated on the wall. My mind has gone blank. Only one thought makes it alive. A question I had: "What should I post?" After a while, my hands were typing. It started with the title: 'Blank Stares...'.
So yeah. That's how I started it. Hehehe. There are days I have so many ideas to write. And there are also days, that it's hard to compose a content. And one of those days is today. Mempz.
Let me make it a little bit tasty... What's your thought about the crypto now? Did you aggressively withdrew your money? Just like how panic buyers and panic sellers do? Hmmm.
After months of waiting and witnessing how volatile the cryptos are/were, I can officially say (charot), that I'm not aggressive in selling nor buying... 😅 It's just the feelings inside of me, that, I have those kind of roller coaster emotions. But I don't do it in action. I'll see in the coming months if I change.

Since I posted one content yesterday, allow me to post three today. While writing this, I only have six minutes before the clock ticks to 12:00am. So I'll make it short. 😅
Until now, I did not open my crypto wallet, nor observe the movement of it. I'm scared to see how it went down again. But I will be very happy if it goes up. What worries me though is that, I think, little by little, it's going down and down and down. Then there's a little rise, then it will go down again. 😅 Anyway, let's put our faith in it.

Fishball Sauce...
Hmmmm. Now I'm wondering... Who was the first seller to sell fishballs? Did they originally provide sauce for it or not? And now every fishball seller cooks sauce as well? Just thinking about it. Hehe. What if there was no sauce? Will customers still buy it? Hehe. Just a ridiculous thought I have...
Oh, still, so many vehicles keep coming. Let's see if there will still be many cars and people tomorrow...

Gulaman is life.
One of my favorite drinks is gulaman. It's mixed with jelly and milk. Yum yum. That's why, I see to it that I cook and sell it everyday. Kids or my so called customers love it too... That's one way of attracting them to come and buy in my store.
Another hope today. A hope that every seller wants to happen. What is it? To sell out their products.
We have a sunny weather today. And by this time, most of us are busy with our work. Go go go my friends.

Many Visitors Came.
Each day, many visitors come to visit the wake of our Mayor. So surprising and this is the first time, that many visitors came here. In my opinion, he has done a lot... He really did his best.
Fishball moments.
Hmmm, I prayed that my products will be sold out today. That's because, I want to have a bulk purchase tomorrow. I'll close at 9pm later ... Whew.
Let me have my moment now. Gonna watch the K-drama: All Of Us Are Dead.
"Shimbol" to "Fishball".
This kid, at the same time my neighbor, would always come here everyday. At first, I always hear her say, let me say it in English though, "Aunt, I want to eat 'shimbol' "... This was how she always pronounce the word.
One time, I was washing the dishes outside the house. She came to me... Instead of me telling her not to touch the water and the dishes I was washing, I just let her be. I took the chance and taught her. I said, "could you say, 'fishball'?" She said energetically, "shimbol"... I smiled and again said, "You have to say 'fishball' instead of 'shimbol'. Let's say it again."
We drilled several times until she learned the proper way. And now, she can say it properly. Happy to hear her say the right pronunciation. Hehe. She was my first customer for today since I opened early.

How are you my dear noisemates. I'm here sitting down. I had my early lunch so I can open early today. I talked to my friend this morning and we planned to visit the departed this evening. So I'll open early, so I can close early this evening. It depends...
It's good that it's sunny here again. Yesterday, I checked the Google weather in our place and it said that it will rain this Monday. Thankfully, it did not.
So, let's prepare now and open the store....
I did not open today.
Due to the sad situation we have right now in our hometown, I preferred not to open my store. That was to sympathize with them. I just stayed at home. Cooked whatever I like. Tomorrow, we will try to visit the departed... Whew.
My friend came to us this afternoon. She missed eating fishball so she begged and asked that I should cook 20 pieces of kikiam. I did it and her sauce was the "Datu Puti" suka. They enjoyed it together with my sister.
Hmmmm. Gonna rest for now. I feel tired.

Painful feeling.
At almost 2:00am, I was awakened by an unexpected news. Our mayor here have died. I was shocked. I couldn't comprehend and can't find the reason, why he suddenly passed away... Huhu. In the news, it said that they attended the wedding yesterday in a particular place... And that's where he died. The hospital where they brought him wasn't able to revive him. I don't know the details yet.
I was deeply hurt by his death. Now everyone is waiting for him. For me, he is one of the best Mayor we've ever had in our place. He was one of the best. He fought for the rebels with his might ...
I woke up this morning, and it was my first time to see, that the light color orange was mixed with the bright morning. Seems like, it's mourning too. And now, it's raining again. Whew.
Death is always unpredictable. Whew. Ouch. 😢 😭
"Gulaman" has been slain.... 😅
Hmmm, for the past few days, few customers ordered the "gulaman". But today, kids kept on coming until they drank it all. So gulaman was sold for today. I was so sorry for the others who were not able to drink it. Hehe.
Next, most kids ordered fishball only. Few ordered the kikiam and chicken ball... Sometimes, I get confused. How should I know when they like this and that so I will know when to sell more... Like the gulaman.
Anyway, I'll just depend it to the situation and the weather. That's the least I could do to understand my customers' cravings. Hehehe.

Starting from three days ago, my neighbor who is also my friend, just paid her credits today. Yey! She has thirteen pesos left now because she ordered again. 😅
Let my sales double and my customers' credits shrink.... Words from a virtual friend which I totally agree. 😊 It's good to let the buyers get credits from our stores, but not a big amount, and not always. I won't be allowing that. 😅 Hihi. Oh, I think, I can get strict too. Haha.

Rainy Cravings.
Is it because there are less customers that's why, it is me now, that has cravings for fishball? Hmmm. I've eaten already. The second time, I made my sauce pure spicy. And suffered later on. 😅 I can't take the spicy foods. A while ago, while the spicy taste was in my mouth, I walked around so as not to feel it. My brains were like, dizzy too. I suffer whenever I eat spicy foods. Just a little taste of spice is my limit. Hehe.
Hmmm. Hey noisers, come to my store and order your own choices. 😊
Ooooopppssss, the rain stopped just now. Yipppeeeyyy. Hoping for more customers to come so I will have gains. Yey.

I'll be closing late for tonight. I'll just try if there will still be customers.
Usually, I close at 7pm, that is the earliest. And then, 8pm, depending on the situation. Tonight, I'll try to close at 9pm. Hihi.
I still have here my hot sauce: sweet sauce, sweet chilli sauce, vinegar with other ingredients, and native vinegar (but they don't usually touch nor use it. 😅) Also, I have here gulaman, fishball, kikiam, chickenball. These are ready to be eaten. Come now noisemates. While eating these foods, let's chitchat...
Grrrr. It's cold in here by the way. I only have 40 minutes, before my promised closing time today. Hihi.

Hmmm. We thought, we were not included. But then it entered our country. We thought, we were not affected, but then, it spread out to the whole nation, to far-flung areas... To my country, to your country, to my city, to your city, to my province, to your province, to my hometown, to your hometown... Gradually, the whole world is affected. And each one of us, hopes and pray, that this pandemic (whether it exists in you and me or not), will be gone forever. But then, they say, the virus will stay with us.
Whew. Now, everyone of us are frustrated, angry, weary, and other kinds of negativities. We are now again in a situation wherein, we should be checked wherever we go. No vaccine, no entry, and bla bla and so on. Currently, in my place, we are under alert level four. Awful thing... But amidst this situation, we always find a way.

Yehey. Finally, after two months, my toenails are looking new again. Char. I went to my neighbor, who is my friend and she pedicured it. My nails are colored with shiny red... Looking great.

For me, the month of January to February, usually make people sick due to the cold weather. This afternoon, I was hopeless and restless. I assumed that there will be few customers today. No classes for the students, plus, I did not open for three consecutive days. So that's what I thought, there will be less customers today. But I was wrong. They came at past 5:00pm. I was filled with joy. Hehehe. One of my customers, texted me, and I replied that I was now open. I hope, she comes later. I'm rooting for her. Chos.
Sometimes, our thinking doesn't correspond with what really happens ... Just like today. I actually prayed that, everything will be bought. And it was granted. Yey! I'm almost there. 😊

Oh, it's already past 6:30am. I'm here waiting for the jeepney to arrive. I have to ask the driver to buy for gulaman and vinegar. Stores here don't have the gulaman that I want. They have vinegar but I just partnered it with the gulaman so it won't be alone. Char.
Hmmm. When will it come. I feel so cold now. It's not yet totally bright here so I was surprised when I went out of the door. And then it's cloudy too. Grrrr. So cold. I need to go home now. Hehe.
