To start with, A Governor is said to be the Chief in command of all the security sectors in his or her state. Being the Governor of Kaduna state I would make sure my citizens are well secured in all ramifications. But how can this be done?
Taking the citizens of my state at heart is for sure a good beginning, I would make sure the security system is being segmented from the smallest rural area in the state, to the local government and also to the state at large. We are in a digital world, so, I would make sure CCTV cameras are being setup in all areas to help the security men around a region do their jobs effectively. An emergency code would also be given out to the citizens in order to reach out for help easily. Officers would be assigned for patrols and emergency responses. This act, would also help the citizens to be mentally secured, having known that there are securities around them.
The people protecting them would be well secured too, by granting life insurance to each of them and providing the necessary equipments for effective work to be done. Also, to improve the security level, it is to reduce the rate of crime, by engaging every citizen that is up to age and well certified. That is, there would be job provision in my state. I would make Kaduna great at all cost.
Concerning the present situation that we have found ourselves, that is, the covid-19 situation. This I will take as a top priority for my regime, I will make sure every citizen of my state is well taken care of. The health facilities will be given all that they require in other to meet up with this horrible situation that the world had found itself in. I know for sure that it wouldn't be an easy job for me but I was elected by the people, which was also not an easy job for the people. They had done their work, and now it's my time to proof I worth their votes.
For a man to do a great work, that man has to take that work to heart. I would surely take my people to heart, I would treat them as a father would do to his children. The people of Kaduna state are now my children and my responsibilities and I wouldn't joke with that which they need at all costs. It's also like being a mother at the same time.
In conclusion, I will make sure Kaduna state becomes a prestigious state out of the 36 states in my country Nigeria.
