Pakistan

Pakistan, [c] is officially the islamic republic of Pakistan, [d] a country in South Asia. It is the fifth most populous country in the world with a population of more than 212.2 million, and has the world's second largest Muslim population. Pakistan is the 33rd largest country by area, covering 881,913 sq km (340,509 sq mi). It has a 1,046 km (50 mi) coastline along the Arabian sea and gulf of Oman to its south and borders from India to the east, from Afghanistan to the west, from Iran to the southwest, and from China to the northeast. It is narrowly separated from tajikistan by Afghanistan's wakhan corridor in the northwest, and also shares a maritime border with Oman.
