The arrival of the Dajjal

The day when this mortal world will be destroyed is called Resurrection. No one knows the day of resurrection except Allah. However, Rasulullah (sm) has described some of its antecedents. The arrival of the Dajjal is one of them.

Fatima bint Qays (R) said, "I heard the announcer of the Prophet (sm) announce, 'Go to the mosque for salat'." So I went to the mosque and performed salat with the Prophet (sm). At the end of the salat, he sat up on the pulpit and said with a soft smile, "Let each person sit in his own salat place. He said: Do you know why I have gathered you? The Sahabis said, Allah and His Messenger (sm) know best. He said, by God! I did not gather you to give you anything or to show you any fear. Rather, I have gathered you to listen to an incident of Tamim Dari.

Tamim Dari was a Christian man. He came to me and accepted Islam. He narrated to me an incident which is in line with what I have told you about the Dajjal. He said he once went on a cruise with thirty men from the Lakham and Jujam tribes. The waves of the sea swept them around for a long month. Finally one day at sunset we reached an island. Then they entered the island in small boats tied to the hull of the big boat, and there they met an animal whose whole body was covered with large hairs. His face and back could not be understood due to excessive fur. Then they noticed him and said, "Woe to you, who are you?" He said, "I am a spy." You go to the man in the room, he is expecting your news. Tamim Dari said, "When we heard about the man from the creature, we were afraid that he might be the devil." Then we quickly went there and he entered the room. There I saw a man with a huge body, which I had never seen before. He was tied up very tightly. His hands were tied together by an iron chain to the neck and both knees below the knee. We told him, bad luck to you! Who are you He said, "Surely you will know me, and I will not hide it." But tell me first, who are you? They said, "We are Arabs."

We were boarding a boat at sea. For a long month, the waves of the sea have brought us here and there. Then we entered the island. Then we met an animal with a thick body all over its body. He said, "I am a seeker of secret news." When he told us to come to this house, we quickly came to you. He said, "Well, tell me, does the date tree in the Bayasan area bear fruit? (Baysan is the name of a place in Hejaz). We said yes. He said that in the near future he will no longer bear fruit. Then he said, well let's see, is there water in the bill called Tabaria? We said yes, there is plenty of water in it. He said he would run out of water soon. Then he said, "Well, let's see, is there water in the spring called Yoga and do the people cultivate the land with the water of that spring?" We said yes, there is plenty of water in it and the people there cultivate the land by water. Then he asked, well tell me, what is the news of the illiterate prophet? We said that he had migrated from Makkah to Madinah. He asked, "Tell me, did the Arabs fight him?" We said yes. He asked, "How did he treat them?" We say that he has won over the Arabs around him and they have accepted his allegiance. Hearing this, he said, you know! It is good for them to obey him. Well, this time I'm describing my situation - I'm the Dajjal. I will be allowed to leave in the near future. I will go out and wander on the earth, except Mecca and Medina. I will travel all over the world in forty days. I am not allowed to enter these two places.

Whenever I wish to enter one of them, the angel will prevent me from entering with an open sword in his hand. In fact, angels are guarding every entrance. The narrator said, "So far, the Prophet has knocked on the pulpit with his stick and said three times, 'This is Medina, this is Medina, this is Medina.' Then he said, "Tell me, have I not narrated this hadith to you before?" People said, yes. Then he said that the Dajjal is in one of the seas of Syria or one of the seas of Yemen. He later said that he would rather come to the east. With this he pointed to the east with his hand (Muslim, Mishkat H / 5248).

Like the above hadith, the following hadith also describes some of the signs of the Resurrection, including the position of the Dajjal on earth, the arrival and position of Jesus (pbuh) on earth.

Abdullah bin Amr (R) said, the Prophet (sm) said, the Dajjal will come out and stay until forty. Abdullah bin Amr (R) said, I do not know that the Prophet (sm) said forty days, or forty months said, He said, "No, forty years. Then Allah will send Isa bin Maryam. He looks like Urwa bin Mas'id. He will look for the Dajjal and he will kill him. Isa will stay on this earth for six years. Then there will be no enmity between the two, then Allah will send a cool breeze from the direction of Syria, and that wind will not keep alive even a single person on the surface of the earth who has a particle of virtue or faith in his heart. If anyone hides in the mountains, the wind will still enter and kill him.

The Prophet (sm) said, then only the wicked sinners and wicked people will remain. They will be as fast as birds in adultery and as hard as beasts in slaughter. They will have no ability to distinguish between good and evil. Then the devil will come to them in the form of a figure and say, "Are you not ashamed?" Then people will say, well, you tell me, what should we do? Then Satan will command them to worship idols. In this state they will continue to live in great happiness, comfort and enjoyment. Then the trumpet will be blown, and whoever hears it will turn his head from side to side in a state of fear.

The Prophet (sm) said that the first person to hear that voice was the one who was repairing a water tank for his camel. Then he will be scared to death there and other people will die along with him. Then Allah will send a light rain like mist. It will revive those bodies that were wiped out in the grave. Then the trumpet will be blown a second time. Then all the people will get up. Then it will be announced, O people! Hurry to your Lord. The angels will be ordered to stop here, they will be interrogated. Then it will be said to the angels, "Bring out those who are fit for Hell." Then the angels will say, "How many will I bring out?" It will be said, "Bring out nine hundred and ninety-nine people for every thousand." After saying so far, the Prophet (sm) said, this is the day which is mentioned in the Qur'an,_ _ ‘On that day the children will be made old’ (Muzammil 16). In other words, the child will grow old in the horror of that day. That day will be very difficult
