Two wonderful prayers for forgiveness of sins

# 1- Prayer for deliverance from all sins except shirk

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Ganam (may Allaah be pleased with him) that a person should recite the following prayer 10 times before returning from Maghrib and Fajr prayers and turning his feet.

«There is no god but Allah, and there is no partner to Him, but He is the Lord, and praise be to Him, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

(La ila-ha illallah-hu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulku walahul hamdu yuhwi waiyumitu wahua ‘ala qulli sha’in qadir).

“There is no deity except Allah, He has no partner, His is the kingdom and all praise is due to Him. He gives life and causes death. And He has power over all things. "

God records in his record 10 virtues for each time,

Forgive 10 sins,

Raises him to 10 ranks, protects him from every unpleasant thing and expelled Satan (8 dhikr), surely his sins other than shirk are forgiven. And he is the best person in terms of deeds, but he can be better than the one who recites better dhikr than him ”(Ahmad, Sahih Targhib-Hadith 482).

# 2- Doa to avoid shirk

God, I seek refuge in You from associating partners with You, and I know, and ask forgiveness for what you do not know.

(Alla-humma inni a’yu bika an usharika bika wa ‘ana alamu wa astagfiruka lima la alamu).

“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You, and I seek forgiveness for what you have done unknowingly. ”
